Daniel Muehlhaus (Daan) is geboren op 21 februari 1907 in Dordrecht (†1981). Hij woonde en werkte daar. Muehlhaus was autodidact. Hij schilderde olieverfschilderijen en aquarellen, tekende stadsgezichten, landschappen, bloemen en portretten in een impressionistische stijl.
