UTAH. USA Hard Water Deposits. Because I live on the 2nd floor of and 8 story residential building, I get a lot of the creeping crud of hard water building up in my plumbing pipes. The management is ignorant of this problem and they fail to put water softener chemicals in the boiler and other sources of building water. Thus, each unit is responsible for hard water clogs and plumbing problems in sinks, bathtubs, showers, toilets, and appliances such as dishwashers. When the matter has been brought to their attention, they still refuse to do anything. Then management changes every few years, and the ignorance of hard water buildup problems starts all over again. It's not only problems in each unit, but also in the building plumbing pipes. There are continual, massive water leaks - everywhere.
ROYAL FLUSH. In the apartment building where I lived in San Francisco, also an old, historical building, they had mastered the hard water problem. Once a month we received a reminded to pour one cup of white vinegar down our drains. From the top floor, 7th, to the bottom floor, the pipes all got a 'Royal Flush.' No water leaks. No plumbing problems. This could be done on the 1st or 15th of each month.

On flight from Madrid to Franfurt/M. Tsuchinshan-ATLAS was an easy naked eye object. The comet could be observed for nearly one hour and nice images were possible with high iso and short exposure times. The tail did rotate from around 4 o'clock to 11 o'clock in only three days, so now it's a good observing time for this comet, again ;-) 70-200mm f2.8 + ISO 16000 1/50s detailed image : composit of 6 exposures
