A little slow for me, not my daily driver / sync but makes a nice backup. I've had my own Nextcloud running in my home, but hosted is easier and a good offsite backup. Several Nextcloud hosted companies give out up to 5 or sometimes 10g for free or really cheap.
My personal preference right now is https://Mega.nz 20GB free. One of my accounts is pretty old and I have the 50gb free they used to give out before cutting back. Works on #Linux (nextcloud does also) secure chat, sharing etc... Not open source like Nextcloud, but 50g is 50g and they do seem to be encrypted even in place.
#Mega is all encrypted but they have taken down accounts for things such as CP and DMCA, they can trace back a shared file to an account, but unless you're doing stupid stuff on a large forum or your link gets shared 100's of times, you're probably okay.
If you're doing stupid stuff, hopefully you're smart enough to always use a logless VPN and don't use payment options that can be traced back to you, including BTC.
