#Ohio Officials Carry Out Controlled Blast to Stop Derailed Train with Hazardous Chemicals from Exploding

Fifty freight train carriages carrying highly combustible unsafe chemicals derailed and exploded near the Ohio - #Pennsylvania border on February 4. The authorities then conducted a “controlled release” of vinyl chloride to stop an explosion.

Heavy smoke engulfed the skies of East Palestine, Ohio, triggering evacuations throughout the week. The authorities declared a state of emergency in East Palestine.

from #JimStone:
#SHOCKING: #Environmental #disaster #intentionally #caused #by #federal #government - a derailed #train carrying many carloads of #Polyvinylchloride was detonated on purpose in Palestine Ohio

That's the last thing you'd ever want to do, that substance, when not cured (as was the case) is probably the worst carcinogen known to man. I think "they" wanted to cause a huge disaster so they derailed the train on purpose, and then for no conceivable reason put explosives on the tanks and blew them up on puropse.
A side comment here - something that is getting censored but I have known about since the 80's - un cured polyvinylchloride is BAAAD, I found out about that after someone I knew had to walk into a cleanup scene and died of cancer within 2 months. You cannot expose yourself to un-cured liquid PVC fumes NO MATTER WHAT. Cured it is fine, un-cured it's one of the worst things there is.
I REPEAT: THEY DERAILED A TRAIN CARRYING PERHAPS THE WORST CHEMICAL CARGO POSSIBLE AND THEN DETONATED EVERY SINGLE CAR CARRYING THAT SUBSTANCE ON PURPOSE, right in the middle of the most prime farm land in the country. That's a clear and obvious act of war waged on the United states by the government.

CLEARLY, obviously, the worst enemy of the United States is it's own government, stolen elections have consequences, and this is proof. This "weather system" is in fact the worst toxic waste known to man, put into the sky by the government of the United States. The environmental destruction will be incalculable. And this is not even being picked up by the MSM.
GET THIS!! The reason given for blowing the train cars up was because they were afraid they might explode!!!! RIDICULOUS!!!

FISH DEAD IN NEARBY RIVERS DUE TO THE INTENTIONALLY SET FIRES

The media is already playing cleanup, saying the train crashed and burned. That is not the case, there was no fire until they blew the cars up. Then the smoke traveled and started killing things.

Update:

283 square miles contaminated so badly that animals both domestic and wild are dying

The media silenced the Palestine Ohio train derailment - for whatever reason I can't even guess. But the fact remains that it is one of the greatest environmental catastrophes in American history

My thoughts are that the same authorities who did nothing to stop pfizer from ruining countless millions is actually seeking to cause damage in the population so no precautions at all are being taken with the vinyl chloride release perpetrated by the federal government, they are just sending people back home.

This is a small capture, but the bottom line is that if chickens are dying 10 miles away in one direction, and other wildlife is dying 10 miles away in the opposite direction, over 280 square miles are toast. Near the site of the derailment, safe limits were exceeded by 8,000X. That's not percent, it is X, 100 times more than a percent rating.

#Chemical #warfare is OK in #Ukraine against Russians forces but must not be talked about when it's against US citizens by US authorities... adding to their favorite agenda textbook under the verse "Pestilence"...

Downtown #Pittsburgh, #Pennsylvania is less than 40 air miles downwind of this disaster. Assuredly NO ONE living there, or even within the city's suburbs, will be advised to evacuate or to take ANY precaution. And as already said, there are many farms in the area including the one collective of farms that provides much #organic #food.

I have great empathy for the people who have already lost and will lose so much over this -- their homes, their livelihoods, their communities, their animals, their own #health.

I take my pet each week to an excellent veterinarian whose practice is within 25 miles from East Palestine, downwind. When driving to the vet's practice, I always thought of the risk of living close to the nuclear power plant that I pass along the way. Fallout. I didn't think for a moment of this scenario. Who would?

Ironic how there's so much focus on continuity of government, continuity of business, etc. these days while there was apparently no risk management applied here. Maybe Jim Stone has a point, if not the truth.

"Luminous Liberty Bell", Philadelphia, PA

As I do love bells, here's the 80-foot (24m) tall "Luminous Liberty Bell" spanning Broad Street (at Johnson St), Philadelphia, PA, built in 47 days by Frank C. English & Sons in April-May, 1926, at a cost of $100,000 for the 1926 Sesqui-Centennial International Exposition. The bell was illuminated with 26,000 15-watt light bulbs set at six-inch centers and eight 200-watt projectors in the clapper. The structure contained 80 tons of steel resting on a foundation of 30-foot wooden pilings with a concrete capping.

Today it would cost $1,676,819.21 [+]

The Old Pummerin was originally cast in 1705 from 208 of the 300 cannons captured from the Muslim invaders in the Second Turkish Siege of Vienna.

An seinem 68.

Deborah Berke renovates and expands historic buildings at University of Pennsylvania

Guesthouse University of Pennsylvania

US studio Deborah Berke Partners has overhauled a pair of Victorian-era townhouses at the University of Pennsylvania and added a terracotta-clad extension that is meant to be contextually sensitive.

The building, called the Meeting and Guesthouse, is located on the Ivy League university's campus in Philadelphia. It is part of a newly established precinct with facilities geared toward campus visitors, including trustees and dignitaries.

The project entailed the revamp and expansion of two brick townhouses dating to 1898, which formerly held offices for the School of Arts and Sciences.

Creating a contextually appropriate design was a key concern for Deborah Berke Partners, which is based in New York.

"The project balances respect for the residential nature of the streetscape with the current needs of the university," said Stephen Brockman, a firm partner.

The Meeting and Guesthouse – which totals 17,250 square feet (1,603 square metres) – contains conference rooms, lounges, "touch-down" offices and overnight accommodations.

The team preserved the front portion of the historic buildings. Updates included repointed brick, a new roof, re-glazed windows and the repair of decorative elements.

In the rear, the architects added a multi-level extension wrapped in terracotta.

"The rear and east side of the building feature a new, terracotta facade in a tripartite arrangement that reflects the massing of the original building," the team said. "The material relates to, but reinterprets, the Roman brick of the original building."

The building's entrance was moved to the south elevation and faces Locust Walk, a central artery on campus. The entry is fully accessible and sits just off a motor court.

The project also entailed the conversion of a former parking lot into a terrace with bluestone paving, where outdoor events can be held.

"The bold addition is accessible, welcoming and contextual, and it reorients the building toward a new, richly planted terrace," said Brockman.

Within the building, a new lobby features a glass wall that looks upon the terrace. A staircase and elevator bring visitors to a half level, where one finds a conference room and an event space.

Upper floors contain offices, a board room, a multipurpose space and four guest suites. Rooms feature neutral tones with pops of colour, and a blending of historic details with contemporary decor.

The project has a number of sustainable elements, including a high-performance building envelope and energy-efficient mechanical systems. The building has earned LEED Gold certification from the US Green Building Council.

Architect Deborah Berke, who serves as dean at the Yale School of Architecture, founded her studio in 1982. Among the firm's projects are a student dormitory at a small Pennsylvania college that is clad in stone and zinc, and the conversion of a late 19th-century mental asylum in New York into a boutique hotel.
