#Muslim #Democrats in the #US have given #Biden an ultimatum

If the president does not achieve a ceasefire in Gaza by 5pm Washington time, Muslims will work against raising funds and votes for his re-election in 2024.

The National Muslim Democratic Council issued a statement saying:

"Your administration's unconditional support, including funding and weapons, has played a significant role in perpetuating the violence that is causing civilian casualties and undermining the confidence of voters who previously trusted you."

Yet the #US administration currently opposes a #ceasefire in #Gaza, as it does in #Ukraine.

Most Americans oppose Congress authorizing additional funds to support Ukraine in its war with #Russia, according to a new #CNN poll.

55% of respondents say the US #Congress should not authorize additional funds to support #Ukraine.

Additionally, 51% say the US has already done enough to help Ukraine.

A bigger concern across party lines in the new poll is that the war will continue without a resolution for a long time.

Republicans say broadly that Congress should not authorize new funding (71%) and that the US has done enough to help Ukraine (59%). Among #Democrats, a majority say the opposite, with 62% in favor of additional funding and 61% saying America should do more.

The House voted 414-2 last week to maintain US sanctions on Syria despite the earthquakes that have killed thousands of Syrians in the last few weeks. AOC and the Squad voted for the measure. The only opposition came from two Republicans incl. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia.

Watching the "Detective Knight: Redemption" and like almost every other Hollywood #movie, it makes me sick to stomach.

US is facing a wave of extreme right wing #terrorism, the country is falling apart because of the inability of the #democrats to support and back the working class Americans and what does #Hollywood come up with?

A villain who uses the talking points of progressives and (in US terms) radicals. It is really disgusting.

A group of criminals killing innocent people (in standard #Hollywood style) while the bad cops, doing their best, including committing crime going after them.

It is not a coincident, it is the norm, the standard of US media creating subliminal message to put the notion that anyone saying things against the corrupt system, is somehow worse than those criminals themselves. And they do it with the help of Bruce Willis.
