Who Is Konstantin Nikolaev? Putin Ally Behind Mike Johnson Campaign Donation

News of money previously given to House Speaker Mike Johnson's congressional campaign by Russian nationals has re-emerged after the Republican rejected a $95 billion foreign aid bill passed in the Senate.

In 2018, a group of Russians were able to donate to Johnson's bid for the Louisiana seat he eventually won as the money was funneled through the Texas-based American #Ethane company.

While American Ethane was co-founded by American John Houghtaling, at the time it was 88 percent owned by three Russian nationals—Konstantin Nikolaev, Mikhail Yuriev, and Andrey Kunatbaev. #Nikolaev is known to be a top ally of Russian President Vladimir #Putin.

During the session with the African Delegation, Russian President Vladimir Putin showed the African leaders a copy of the agreed-upon draft agreement between Russia and Ukraine in March 2022.

The agreement puts regulations on Ukrainian Armed Forces and says that Ukraine must adopt a Permanent Diplomatic Neutrality

Putin told the African Delegation that #Russia withdrew troops from Kyiv/Kiev and #Chernihiv in accordance with the treaty.

However, after that happened #Ukraine "on the orders of #Washington, threw this treaty into the dustbin of history."

At that time it was openly reported that the person responsible for the fall of the agreements was the then Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris #Johnson who convinced the Ukrainian President #Zelensky not to accept the agreements and continue the fight.

Boris #Johnson misled MPs.

The Commons privileges found Johnson committed five serious offences:
1. Deliberately misleading the Commons
2. Deliberately misleading the privileges committee
3. Breaching confidence (by leaking part of the report in advance)
4. “Impugning” the committee, and thus parliamentary processes
5. Complicity in a “campaign of abuse and attempted intimidation of the committee”.

The report said he did this by:

  • Saying guidance was followed fully at No 10, and that this had been the case when he attended gatherings.
  • Failing to tell the Commons about his own knowledge of gatherings where rules or guidance was broken.
  • Saying he relied on assurances from officials and others that rules had not been broken. These “were not accurately represented by him to the house”, the report found, and were not properly authoritative.
  • Saying he could not answer questions before the issues had been investigation by Sue Gray, the senior civil servant who initially reported on the parties, when he already had personal knowledge he did not reveal.
  • Purporting to correct the record, but instead continued to mislead, and also misleading the committee with continued denials.
  • Being “deliberately disingenuous when he tried to reinterpret his statements to the house to avoid their plain meaning”, for example making “unsustainable interpretations” of Covid rules to justify gatherings.

If Johnson had not resigned as an #MP, the committee would have recommended a 90-day suspension from #parliament

Undisclosed Covid-era #Johnson events occurred at both Chequers and Downing Street

So #Bozo the Clown seems to have been in attendance at not one but twelve, yes twelve, additional gatherings during #COVID restrictions which were not previously investigated by the Met or Sue Gray.

Not only that, but his rabid supporters are crying blue murder that the civil service, on receipt of such evidence of potential illegality, should consider it their duty to pass it to the police rather than ignoring it. And the Clown himself is now threatening to sue the Cabinet Office.

The party of law and order, ladies and gentlemen...

Just seven months after becoming the first popularly elected president in the #DominicanRepublic Bosch was overthrown by a military coup on September 25, 1963, with the support of the Dominican oligarchy, the hierarchy of the Catholic Church and the US government. Bosch was responsible for a new constitution. A constitution that ensured basic civil and human rights, and established a popular democracy for the majority of the people. Sounding too much like “another potential socialist #Cuba,” the U.S. was determine to crush democracy in the Dominican Republic.

On April 24, 1965, a group of officers led by Colonels Rafael Fernández Domínguez and Francisco Alberto Caamaño, united a civic-military movement for the restoration of the 1963 constitution and the return of Juan Bosch for president. Domínguez and Caamaño received massive popular support. A revolution erupted demanding the return and reinstatement of elected president Bosch.

Instead, on April 28, the United States of America invaded the Dominican Republic to counter the advance of the Constitutionalists. US President #Johnson sent 20,000 US Marines, justifying the invasion by claiming that communists were within the civil-military movement and therefore could not be allowed to come to power.

The full extent of death and destruction endured by the Dominican people was not recorded and is not fully known, even today. Most estimates are that 3,000 to 4000 were killed; some estimates say that as many as 6,000 to 10,000 Dominicans were killed during this invasion.
