Wagner chief says Ukraine never threatened to attack Russia
The head of the Wagner mercenary group has said Ukraine never threatened to attack Russia, as the #Kremlin claimed when attempting to justify its invasion.
The statement by Yevgeny #Prigozhin dramatically raises the stakes in his battle with Russian military chiefs.
In a video message, Prigozhin said: "We exchanged fire: we hit them, they hit us. This was happening all these long eight years, from 2014 to 2022.
"At some points, the number of strikes, the exchange of fire, was increasing, at others - it was decreasing. By February 24 [2022] there was nothing extraordinary.
"Now the Ministry of Defence is trying to deceive the public; trying to deceive the president and is telling the story that there was insane aggression from Ukraine and they [Ukraine] were going to attack us, together with the entire #NATO bloc.
"The special operation that began on February 24 was launched for completely different reasons."

The Department of Defense has announced that Naval Ships from the U.S. Navy’s 5th Fleet based in #Bahrain are being moved off the Coast of the City of Port #Sudan where Foreign Nationals have been moving to in Convoys over the last few days.
U.S. Military and Intelligence are working to establish Secure Routes that Foreign Nationals and Diplomats can follow from Cities across Sudan including the Capital City of #Khartoum to the Coastal City of Port Sudan; once there Air and Sea Evacuations can take place.
#Sweden's Riksdag decided to send an armed evacuation force of no more than 400 Royal Swedish Army Troops to #Sudan. In reality, it is expected that it will be about 150.
— On Sunday, the Riksdag gave the go-ahead to send an armed force to Sudan, where around 100 Swedes, including embassy staff and families, are said to be. According to the committee report, the evacuation effort applies to "Swedish and foreign citizens and equipment".

The Sudanese Air Force is continuing to conduct #Airstrikes against the Positions of the Rapid Support Force (RSF) that are in or near Khartoum International Airport in the Sudanese Capital; these Airstrikes come as it was said the U.S/Coalition Evacuation Operation was going to begin soon and that it would be utilizing this Airport.
It was assumed that the evacuation of employees of the diplomatic missions of the United States , Great Britain , #France and China from Sudan would pass through the #Khartoum airport. However, the United States embassy said that it was unsafe to conduct a coordinated evacuation at the moment due to the ongoing fighting and the active work of air defense and aviation.

Satellite images show that the World Food Program camp and warehouses in al-Fashir, Sudan, have likely been looted or/and attacked. Most of the tents set up within the camp were dismantled after the start of hostilities.

This is the "Democracy" the western media is trying to make you believe is at stake in Sudan! Reading news and listening to all the people talking nonsense about Sudan as it is the Switzerland of Africa and the beacon of democracy and prosperity, now being under attack by those playing the cards of the evil Putin, makes me sick.
Again and again, we hear and read the same utter nonsense about the greatness of our western values in the world and how we stand for what is right and what is humane, but in reality, almost all the time, when it comes to developing country, our only interests are in getting access to cheap minerals, their oil, their cheap agriculture and to block and prevent the other guys to have them.
In the mean time, our planet is moving fast forward to the catastrophe our capitalist mindset has pushed us toward. Our oceans are rising, our glaciers are melting, hurricanes floods and droughts are becoming so common that no one even cares to report them any more, unless they happen in one of the "developed" countries where their lives matter.
I know I am talking into an empty space venting and not many people care to even read this, we will be busy watching the next BS story about Trump or Macron or Sunak or what ever other ass hole leader our beloved media shoves into our faces. No one has time or energy to care about the victims of the wars in places many can't even find on the map.
