The Global South is Lost
One unanticipated outcome of the recent flareup in the #MiddleEast is that it appears to have put the final nail in the coffin of the #ClownWorldOrder by making it clear that the so-called “rules-based order” does not actually have any genuine principles or rules, thereby ensuring widespread global preference for the sovereign nations of the #Multipolarity over the #Imperial #USA and its occupied #satrapies.
Attempts by the #US and its allies to “paint #Moscow as a global pariah” have been “poisoned” by the rush to support Israeli retaliation against #Hamas in #Gaza, the Financial Times reported on Wednesday, citing more than a dozen officials.
“We have definitely lost the battle in the Global South,” one senior #G7 diplomat was quoted as saying. “All the work we have done with the Global South [over Ukraine] has been lost… Forget about rules, forget about world order. They won’t ever listen to us again.”
“What we said about #Ukraine has to apply to #Gaza. Otherwise we lose all our credibility,” the official added. “The Brazilians, the South Africans, the Indonesians: why should they ever believe what we say about human rights?”

Now, this is apparently shocking news to the inhabitants of #ClownWorld as well as its rulers, but it was always inevitable. The “Israel exception” to decades of baseless assertions about #democracy and #human-rights and respect for #indigenous peoples was never going to survive the #Internet anyhow, nor was “the plight of the poor, oppressed #Jewish people who never did nothing bad to nobody” ever going to cut any ice with anyone but high-trust, soft-hearted ignoramuses with no sense of #history.
And it’s a particularly bad look for #Israel to be observed to be “defending itself” by continuously #expanding its #territory. Considering that a significant percentage of the #GlobalSouth has historical experience with #violent #colonization of its ancestral lands, it should not be much of a surprise that there is a natural tendency for them to instinctively side with the #Palestinians. Indeed, many #Jews supported the #blacks in #SouthAfrica on much flimsier historical claims than those possessed by the Palestinians.
But as the Financial Times points out, it is the #juxtaposition of #ClownWorld’s position on the #Russia-Ukraine situation with the #Israel-Palestinian situation that has probably been the most harmful. Ukraine’s #crimes against the #Russians in the #Donbass, and the 14,400 Russians killed there between 2014 and 2022, far exceed the various crimes committed by Hamas in the same timeframe, and yet the #global #media has spent the last 19 months decrying Russian actions that have been considerably more restrained than the total #ethnic #cleansing of the Palestinians now being threatened all over social media in response to a single Hamas raid.
Clown World is dying. One hopes the #GreatPowers of the Multipolarity will use their power and influence in a more circumspect and generally beneficial manner once it is gone.

Smoking Their Own Supply
The #Neoclowns’ collective #delusion concerning the #global #geostrategic situation is off the freaking charts. They actually believed the recent #Jeddah conference, which accomplished precisely nothing and has already been completely forgotten, was going to be the combination of Versailles and Nuremberg.
Sullivan, the national security adviser, recently brought an American delegation to the second international peace summit earlier this month at Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. #India and #China both sent delegations to the session, perhaps drawn to #SaudiArabia for its immense oil reserves. One Indian academic observer dismissed the event as achieving little more than “good advertising for MBS’s convening power within the #GlobalSouth; the kingdom’s positioning in the same; and perhaps more narrowly, aiding American efforts to build consensus by making sure China attends the meeting with . . . #JakeSullivan in the same room.”
Meanwhile, far away on the battlefield in #Ukraine, #Russia continued to thwart Zelensky’s ongoing counteroffensive. I asked an American intelligence official why it was Sullivan who emerged from the Biden administration’s foreign policy circle to preside over the inconsequential conference in Saudi Arabia.
“Jeddah was Sullivan’s baby,” the official said. “He planned it to be Biden’s equivalent of [President Woodrow] Wilson’s Versailles. The grand alliance of the free world meeting in a victory celebration after the humiliating defeat of the hated foe to determine the shape of nations for the next generation. Fame and Glory. Promotion and re-election. The jewel in the crown was to be Zelensky’s achievement of Putin’s unconditional surrender after the lightning spring offensive. They were even planning a #Nuremberg type #trial at the #world-court, with Jake as our representative. Just one more fuck-up, but who is counting?
It’s like they’re getting their strategic direction from the #Marvel #CinematicUniverse. “We can achieve anything, so long as we do it… together!” All that’s missing is a dramatic image of #GirlPower. In the meantime, here’s another fuck-up to add to the growing collection of #ClownWorld #catastrophes:
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has sent letters to #Denmark and #Norway assuring that the #Biden government would expedite approvals for all transfers of #F-16s to Ukraine. In the letters Blinken said that the F-16s would transfered once Ukrainian pilots have completed the Danish and Norwegian lead training program:
I am writing to express the United States’ full support for both the transfer of F-16 fighter aircraft to Ukraine and for the training of Ukrainian pilots by qualified F-16 instructors…. It remains critical that Ukraine is able to defend itself against ongoing Russian aggression and violation of its sovereignty.
The letters from Secretary Blinken mark the first time the Biden regime has given a hard commitment to supplying the Ukrainian military with F-16s.
Keep in mind that the only way F-16s could be useful in Ukraine is if they are #nuclear-armed, and even then, the chances that they would survive long enough to get in range of any strategic Russian targets is remote. This isn’t #WWII and air power is now almost entirely useless. Ten more years of technological development should be enough to mark the end of manned aircraft in war due to satellite, targeting, drone swarms, and laser technology.
There is a reason Russia isn’t making much use of its #air #superiority, and that is because it is simply too dangerous to fly over the modern battlefield. Artillery and air defense are now the order of the day.
I suspect Blinken wrote those letters in the hopes that Russia will settle for an armistice long before the pilot training can be completed and the F-16s sent to Ukraine to be shot down… assuming they can be hidden on the ground long enough to avoid being destroyed by hypersonic missiles.
Clown World isn’t just #evil, it is quite literally #deranged. This is the end result of eight decades of relentless lying to everyone, including themselves. Success always plants the seeds of failure, but even a two-bit drug dealer knows better than to smoke his own supply.

The private military company (PMC) Wagner has once again made international headlines with the arrival of around 1,000 of its employees on battlefields in #Ukraine. For its supposed owner Evgeny #Prigozhin, this is a return to a familiar environment: his companies began their disinformation activities in Ukraine during the #Maidan #revolution. However, the #PMC is no longer limited to making war or business: it is also involved in a broader strategy of branding #Russia in the eyes of foreign, as well as domestic public opinion. This new activity is not so surprising if we recall that Prigozhin himself specializes in Russia’s image abroad and can therefore offer #Wagner many of his contacts in the worlds of public relations and #showbusiness.
While Russian soft power has been probably irreparably destroyed in the West by the invasion of Ukraine, Wagner's recent film productions, all dated 2019-2021, have not necessarily been rendered outdated by the #war in Ukraine. On the contrary, they continue to speak to European circles that admire #survivalism, mercenaries, and non-Asian martial arts, as well as to the #GlobalSouth. They illustrate how the codes of #popculture have been adopted to enhance and justify the #Putin regime’s political objectives and, in particular, to heroize mercenary activity, the “subliminal” message being that Russian heroes fight for the good of all humanity and will inevitably be victorious.
