Try enabling gfx.x11-egl.force-enabled
in about:config
to force the use of EGL1 and then restart the web browser.
If this works, enabling layers.acceleration.force-enabled
can boost your performance even more by enabling OpenGL alongside EGL. 2
This also works on Flatpak if the security permissions are correct (use Flatseal3 if needed).

If we really want Fediverse as alternative, if we belive that people someday will left the mafia-websites and they will join us on these non-hierarchical projects, we MUST to fill up this place with culture. Political information is ok but no one live for political mov. we live for and through the culture, the feelings, and political mov. is just a reaction agaisnt the imposibility to have that. #fediverse #poesia #literature #art #contemporaryart #hack #anarquisme #culture #magik
The crux of this is really that a bunch of channels beam from this satellite, including DStv’s encrypted channels, but many channels are actually open to view.
So maybe don’t just throw out your old DStv decoder with the trash after cancelling your subscription (like I did) as you may be able to use it for something still.

Police forces around the world have increasingly used hacking tools to identify and track protesters, expose political dissidents’ secrets, and turn activists’ computers and phones into inescapable eavesdropping bugs. Now, new clues in a case in India connect law enforcement to a hacking campaign that used those tools to go an appalling step further: planting false incriminating files on targets’ computers that the same police then used as grounds to arrest and #jail them.

Hertzbleed takes advantage of our experiments showing that, under certain circumstances, the dynamic frequency scaling of modern x86 processors depends on the data being processed. This means that, on modern processors, the same program can run at a different CPU frequency (and therefore take a different wall time) when computing, for example, 2022 + 23823 compared to 2022 + 24436.
...
Am I affected by Hertzbleed? Likely, yes.

The number of Americans who possess a security clearance has swelled to more than five million, because classification has swathed in secrecy so many functions of defense and intelligence work. Given the expanding universe of classified documents, the widening pool of professionals with access to them, and the increasing ease with which data can be downloaded and filched, further jumbo leaks appear inevitable.

There has finally been a breakthrough — Thanks to the dedicated community that has sprung up around this topic, a set of kernel patches manage to work around the hardware issues. It’s now possible to run a Radeon HD 5000/6000/7000 card on the Raspberry Pi 4 Compute Module. There are still glitches, and the Kernel patches to make this work will likely never land upstream. That said, It’s possible to run a desktop environment on the Radeon GPU on a Pi, and even a few simple benchmarks.
The results… aren’t particularly inspiring, but that wasn’t really ever the point.

If you've been following the latest advancements in computing for a while, you already know that there's a big problem with laptops: When they're no longer useful as a daily driver, it can be a struggle to find a good use for all its parts. Everything is proprietary, and serious amounts of reverse engineering are required if you decide to forge ahead. This is where Framework, a laptop company building modular laptops comes in. They've made it clear that when you upgrade your Framework laptop with a new mainboard they want you to be able to continue to use the old mainboard outside of the laptop.
When it's done powering your laptop, use it for a cyberdeck?
To that end, Framework have provided 2D mechanical drawings of their mainboard and 3D printable cases that can of course be modified as needed. "But what about peripherals?" you might ask. Framework has provided pinouts for all of the connectors on the board along with information on which connectors to use to interface with them. No reverse engineering needed!
While it's possible to buy a mainboard now and use it, their stated goal is to help people make use of used mainboards leftover from upgrades down the line. With just a stick of memory and a USB-C power adapter, the board will spring to life and even has i2c and USB immediately available.
What would you do with a powerful Intel i5-1135G7 mainboard? Framework wants to know, and to that end, they are actually giving away 100 mainboards to makers and developers. Mind you this is a program created and ran by Framework -- and is not associated in any way Hackaday or our overlords at Supplyframe.
If you've read this far and still don't know what the Framework laptop is, go check out this introduction by our own [Jenny List].

I always thought the police leave the forum open to be informed about #leaks and to #track who buys the data. Now that the forum is closed, the #scene will probably dive deep into the #darknet and be much harder to monitor.
A mysterious new female freshman hacker sets the two groups fighting for the presidency of the student council against each other. The master hacker is set up in a trap and suspended. Now he must investigate the background, gather evidence of his innocence to prevent looming disaster.
