When racist and hateful hooligans from any nationality engage in violence with local communities, it’s often reported as a brawl. However, when Israeli extremists, openly chanting genocidal slogans and inciting violence, clash with locals in Europe, these incidents are misrepresented as a “pogrom.”
This term dangerously misleads, framing organized hate-fueled aggression as though it were an unprovoked ethnic assault, rather than the result of direct provocations and incitements by nationalist extremists.
These Israeli extremists are not targeted because of their Jewish identity, but because of their violent, racist actions. They rip down Palestinian flags, harass Arab drivers, and chant about destroying Palestinian schools and communities. It is unreasonable and irresponsible to expect those subjected to such hate to passively accept it - especially when European officials refuse to apply their anti-hate speech laws against Israelis chanting death to Arabs.
Cities like Amsterdam must be governed by laws and norms that reject hate speech, discrimination, and incitement to violence, in contrast to the impunity these individuals may be accustomed to in Tel Aviv.
This situation is further exacerbated by the media landscape in Israel, where state narratives often obscure or justify the suffering inflicted upon Palestinians.
Many Israelis are unaware of how the global community perceives these actions—especially after more than a year of international coverage on the mass slaughter of
Palestinian civilians, including children. Israel is increasingly seen not as a victim, but as a cruel aggressor engaging in systemic human rights abuses, a perspective grounded in well-documented reports of war crimes and violations of international law.
FIFA, moreover, was expected to take a stance against Israeli soccer teams nearly a decade ago due to their participation in a system of apartheid and the use of facilities on illegally occupied land. However, European sports associations have obstructed accountability measures, allowing these teams to participate despite clear violations of fair play and international standards. This lack of action sends a troubling message: that principles of justice and accountability are secondary to political convenience. It also sends a message to soccer fans to take justice into their own hands.
Israel’s pariah status is now a reality among ethical global citizens who are witnessing the country’s escalating disregard for human rights. European leaders bear responsibility for the violence spurred by this unchecked aggression. By failing to uphold international accountability, they enable the perpetuation of hate and violence—at the expense of peace, justice, and the very principles they claim to uphold.

Columbia paid $395,000 in settlement after suspending Jewish student for using ‘skunk spray’
Back in January, two Israeli students sprayed pro-Palestine protesters at Columbia University with an unknown substance that later turned out to be "skunk spray" (used often by IDF against Palestinian farmers and villages in occupied west bank). They were suspended for 18 months.
Now it comes out that Columbia has paid one of those students $395,000 for being “excessively and disproportionately disciplined.”
Surely it's just a matter of time before all those egregiously suspended and expelled pro-Palestine students get their checks too, right?

Because the words they say in public are nothing but hot air to please the gullible public to believe they actually care about ongoing systematic starvation of millions of Palestinians.
