Pearson’s #correlation coefficient is the #test that measures the #statistical relationship between two continuous #variables. It is known as the best method of measuring the #association between variables because it is based on the #covariance #method. The PCC gives #information about the #magnitude of the correlation as well as the direction of the #relationship.

If the #coefficient value lies between ±0.50 & ±1, then it is said to be a #strong correlation.

If the #value lies between ±0.30 & ±0.49, then it is said to be a #medium correlation.

If the value #lies below +0.29, then it is said to be a #small correlation.

"I am very happy
So please hit me
I am very, very happy
So come on, hurt me
I'll grow back like a starfish
I'll grow back like a starfish
I'll grow back like a starfish
I'll grow back like a starfish"

Our inner #spirit... they can't take that away from us!
And we shall #Stay #strong.

"The kids couldn't hurt Jack
They tried and tried and tried
They dropped things on his back
And lied and lied and lied and lied and lied
But they couldn't stop Jack, or the waters lapping
And they couldn't prevent Jack from feeling happy"

Most alarmingly (and as explained in this 2012 Atlantic article, there's compelling evidence that a parasite often found in cat feces can subtly change people's personalities over time, increasing rates of neuroticism, schizophrenia, and perhaps even suicide.

In other words, research is telling us that cats are selfish, unfeeling, environmentally devastating creatures. If you need to convince someone not to get a cat, here's the research you need to show them.

What research says about cats: they're selfish, unfeeling, environmentally harmful creatures

P.S.:
Now, don't get me wrong. I'm convinced that few people I know will have the same admiration as I have for #felines. Allow me to explain.
I was for several years a dedicated practitioner of Okinawa Go-Ju Ryu Karate Do. Ryu means style or school. Go-Ju means literaly hard-soft (or strong-quiet as I prefer to think) and the animal to imitate is the tiger. Let me emphasize: The #strong, #quiet, #solitary, #free and #wild #tiger.
So, I feel myself authorized to tell you that #cats should not be taken as #house #pets. :-)
