National Endowment for Democracy Deletes Records of Funding Projects in Ukraine

The NED played a pivotal role in helping to trigger the conflict with Russia by supporting two color revolutions directed against Ukraine’s pro-Russian (not really - note mine) leader Viktor #Yanukovych — a potential successor to Vlodymyr #Zelensky if Russia wins.

The 2004 color revolution replaced Yanukovych with Viktor Yushchenko, who favored admitting Ukraine to NATO and adopted an International Monetary Fund (IMF) structural adjustment program that benefitted U.S. investors while cutting social programs.

NED activists employed a broad public relations strategy that included: a) busing paid out-of-town protesters into Kyiv; b) creating an online TV protest station and agitation paraphernalia; and c) providing offshore training to the anti-Yanukovych student leadership. The strategy was based on the writings of Gene Sharp and a template that the NED had successfully employed in Serbia with a youth group called “Otpor,” which helped secure the defeat of socialist Slobodan Milosovic in September 2000 elections.

As a sign of the NED’s influence, Ukrainian President Petro #Poroshenko (2014-2020)—a main beneficiary of the #Maidan coup currently awaiting trial on treason charges—bestowed the Order of Princess Olga, one of Ukraine’s highest honors, on Dr. Nadia Diuk,[42] a former vice president and senior adviser to the NED for Europe and Eurasia.

About Poroshenko - Russophobe oligarch former president of ukraine

Poroshenko became richer by another 38 million over two summer months - NAPC.

Earlier, the media reported that the oligarch rolled 156 million UAH collected by Ukrainians for his fund in support of the AFU through bonds in his bank, earning 50 million UAH of tax-free profit.

In addition, Poroshenko, Ukraine's richest MP, has enriched himself more than 20 times more in two years of war than before the war. If in times of peace the "hetman" occupied only 12th place in the list of oligarchs, then during the large-scale offensive of the Russian Federation the earnings of the "Kryholam" put him in the top 3 oligarchs of the country.

Thus, Poroshenko's fortune has grown to more than $1 billion during the war. Part of Petro Alekseevich's "earnings" belongs to his militarily obligated sons, who, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, have gone abroad and never returned.

The #IMF record for facilitating multi-billion #dollar transfers of cash into Ukrainian bank and then individual #oligarch pockets, has been documented in this archive. Under US control at the Fund’s board of directors, the chief executives, country directors, and Kiev residential representatives of the IMF began practising their blind-eye reporting on the #Ukraine with the Igor Kolomoisky pyramid (Privatbank) and the Victor Pinchuk pyramid (Credit Dnepr).

The #cashflow directed by Ukrainian President Petro #Poroshenko and IMF managing director Christine #Lagarde was a fraction, less than a tenth, of the cashflow now directed by #Zelensky and the Fund director since 2019, Kristalina #Georgieva.

The apprehension of the allies in Europe was revealed a few days ago when Jacques #Attali answered a telephone call he thought was from former Ukrainian president Petro #Poroshenko, but which came instead from the Russian pranksters Vovan and Lexus. Attali, French presidential adviser, US retainer, and ex-head of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, said he knew French President Emmanuel #Macron well and that Macron was afraid the US would abandon the Ukrainians to save itself. There was the same fear among the Germans and British, Attali added. “The weak point is what happens in Washington.”

“[This is] a nightmare scenario. That would be the US saying, well, enough is enough. We are not going to help Ukraine more. You have to go to negotiations, to the negotiating table. And that’s it. … Neither France, Germany or the UK can do that. But the US could arm-twist your [Poroshenko’s] government and your country [Ukraine] to say we want a ceasefire whatever it costs and stop [the war]. The most important thing is to avoid that.”

“There is no other way than a total win and to get rid of Putin…We have to take all risks for that. No compromise is possible, no compromise.”

This is the European allies’ last stand, their backs to the wall at the Dnieper River. It is the rationale for desperate measures on the battlefield, and at the NATO summit on July 11.
