After the #EuroMaidan Revolution ousted pro-Kremlin President Viktor Yanukovych in 2014, Ukraine launched extensive but challenging #anti-corruption efforts.
According to the recently published index that includes 180 countries, Ukraine went from the 144th least corrupt country in 2013 to 104th last year. It has also improved its score from 25 points to 36 over this period, with the higher number signifying less corruption.
In comparison, Russia's ranking went from the 127th least corrupt country in 2013 to 141st 10 years later, while its score dropped from 28 to 26. In 2022, Russia ranked 137th with a score of 28.

The conduct of “Simultaneous Theater Wars” is the backbone of America’s hegemonic Agenda.
It’s a project of global warfare. The PNAC controlled by the NeoCons also dispels the holding of real peace negotiations.
There is a hidden agenda behind this war.
Ukraine was slated to be destroyed as a sovereign country and eventually privatized.
In one of his articles, he advocates for a mobilization of the color revolution in Ukraine against Russian interests:
"The Euromaidan, or Revolution of Dignity, showed a clear desire expressed by Ukrainians to be part of the common European family. However, eight years on, Ukraine is yet to receive clear EU membership prospects. Is it because Ukraine has been doing its European integration 'homework' too slowly or is it more a matter of the #EU and its member states?"

#Russia massive state-funded propaganda budget resulted in a situation where they are actually reconstructing history from scratch using entirely fake “documentary” shots.
The following photos were taken in Sankt Petersburg, where state TV has reconstructed the #Euromaidan scenography for a “documentary” which will be used to support the narratives of Russian propaganda. For many Russians and Putin verstehers abroad these will become the primary source of information of these events, in the same way as just recently Russian TV filmed a whole staged "LGBT march" in Moscow, presenting it as happening in Kyiv.
This is not only limited to Ukraine: RT has recently filmed a clip pretending to be a production of #Germany AfD party... except it was entirely filmed in Russia and with Russian authors.
Be aware of this ongoing process, especially if you have any friends who tend to follow "both sides" as they will be unavoidably exposed to these sophisticated fakes.

Similar draconian laws are being imposed by governments in many other nations.
Why do governments want to ban protest? Because it’s effective. Why do they want us to accept their narrow vision of democracy? Because it makes our power ineffective. (...)
The extraordinary people in these images understand this – from suffragettes picketing the White House in 1917 to Patsy Stevenson being manhandled by police at last year’s Sarah Everard vigil; from relatives of those killed at Amritsar in India in 1919 to those taking to the streets after George Floyd’s murder in the US.
Almost everything of importance is disintegrating fast: ecosystems, the health system, standards in public life, equality, human rights, terms of employment. (...) Business as usual is a threat to life on Earth. Disrupting it is the greatest civic duty of all. (...)
