Krigsförbrytartribunalen ICC och Internationella domstolen i Haag, ICJ, viftas bort som antisemiter, sÀrintressen, islamister eller bara irrelevanta dÄrar. I ord och handling, inte bara av Israel utan av USA och flera andra av de stora vÀstdemokratierna. De som ofta och gÀrna definierar vad som Àr civilisation och vad som Àr barbari. FN, Amnesty, WHO, HRW och LÀkare utan grÀnser slÄr larm om och protesterar mot krigsbrott och etnisk rensning men avfÀrdas totalt och pÄ bred front. HjÀlparbetare och journalister pÄ plats dödas i en omfattning som saknar motstycke i modern krigföring.

Vad vi inte talat lika mycket om Àr vad som ersatt idén om en regelbaserad vÀrldsordning. Men det som har skett, som Àr historiskt signifikant, Àr att vÀstvÀrldens regeringar, makthavare och opinionsbildare i hög utstrÀckning anammat terrorns logik.

OmÀnskliga vansinnesdÄd kan motiveras genom att alla civila görs till legitima mÄltavlor överallt
Vi har ett politiskt samtal, och en medierapportering, om kriget dĂ€r premisserna har förĂ€ndrats. Det Ă€r numera underförstĂ„tt att det – i fallet Palestina – Ă€r i sin ordning att utkrĂ€va hĂ€mnd pĂ„ civila. Att det Ă€r rimligt att bomba oskyldiga som geografiskt befinner sig pĂ„ en plats nĂ€ra nĂ„gon misstĂ€nkt.

DĂ€r Ă€r nu den israeliska, men ocksĂ„ den svenska, brittiska och tyska, tanken om vĂ„ld densamma som terroristens. OmĂ€nskliga vansinnesdĂ„d kan motiveras genom att alla civila görs till legitima mĂ„ltavlor överallt. Det gĂ€ller bĂ„de ideologiskt drivna internationella terrornĂ€tverk och radikaliserade ensamagerande galningar. Nu gĂ€ller det ocksĂ„ Israels regering – och alla de vĂ€stregimer som plötsligt accepterar och försvarar den logiken. Ibland mer inlindat eller genom tystnad om krigsbrott, ibland mycket mer explicit genom uttalat stöd, omfattande vapenexport och andra miljardaffĂ€rer.

Imagine sitting there alone, like that listening to the most despicable criminal in our time , surrounded by a group of sold out criminals cheering and praising that wanted war criminal.

This should go to history of the most shameful moment of US modern political history.

55 standing ovation for man hated by most of his own people is just the proof these people are not really representatives of US interes nor interested in Israeli people at all.

It's just sickening to to watch her lonely protest.

Seriously WTF is wrong with Germany?

I understand that they want to support Israel.
I understand that they stuffer from holocaust guilt.
I understand that they hate Hamas.
I understand they can't back ICC.

But how the fuck can they get so low to protect the war criminal Netanyahu? This is about him. It a case against him. It is case about his war crime,. It is case about him pushing IDF (who is happy to flo)to starve 2 million Palestinians.

It is jus freaking upsetting.

The U.S./Israeli hostage rescue operation was a massive violation of the Law of War, especially as it pertains to the issue of proportionality.

There is no legal jurisdiction that would certify a claim that rescuing four hostages is worth 200-plus civilians.

Even the Israeli Supreme Court agrees this outcome is a gross violation of the principle of proportionality—as it set out in a 2004 decision.

The question now is whether the ICC will have the moral integrity to set forth an additional indictment against Israel, and an indictment against the U.S.

NEW YORK, May 31. /TASS/. The #Clooney Foundation for #Justice, an organization founded by American actor George Clooney and his wife Amal Clooney, wants to get the European Union and the International Criminal Court (ICC) to arrest Russian #journalists abroad. Anna Neistat, an employee of the Clooney Foundation, said this in an interview with the Voice of America radio station (recognized as a foreign agent media in the Russian Federation). According to her, the foundation intends to petition the #ICC to initiate criminal cases against Russian journalists who cover events in #Ukraine in a pro-Russian manner. The Foundation also wants to encourage individual EU countries to initiate criminal prosecution against Russian journalists for “war propaganda.” Neistat called this method more practical, since it will allow “the issuance of closed arrest warrants.” “This is important because we do not want these people to know about such a warrant, on the contrary, we want them to travel to other countries and be arrested there,” she explained. Neistat added that her organization intends to carry out similar actions against all Russian media workers, including “chief and non-chief editors,” those who speak “on air or on their pages on social networks.”
