Kann mir jemand ein #Tablet sagen, das wirklich GPS-Signale von Satelliten empfangen kann, ohne andere Standortdienste zu verwenden? Ich habe hier ein 8 Zoll Tablet von Topluck, das kann es nicht. Werde ich wohl resetten und zurück schicken müssen. 7 Zoll wären mir auch recht und bitte nicht fragen, warum ich kein Smartphone nehmen will. Soll ein #Garmin ersetzen. Danke! 💚

Hrm... just some few years ago, a friend and neighbour of mine asked me, for what i use my (way back then arbitrary) Tablet.
Well, i actually used _that_ particular tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 with bluetooth keyboard cover - and some weirdo apple bt magic mouse) for a short while (about half a year) as an actual desktop replacement.... Because i was lacking on any hardware otherwise.
But, to be honest, after i had at least some laptop back up and running, that thing was gone instantly.
Still, there were uses for the tablet right outside the uses of a frickin desktop or laptop computer...... Like:
Checking emails..
Checking in to social media stuff (g+, fuckbook, early-fediverse, you name it)
Checking news.
Watching some videos.
Play some game.
Reading (digital/digitalized) books.
And what? ;)
What are your actual uses for a tablet class device novadays?
I still would use it to read some ebooks in case i'm residing in a clinic or something like that...

So langsam brauche ich mal ein neues #Tablet. Muss nicht mal ein ganz neues sein, aber auf eins lege ich wert: auf einen großen Akku! Da bin ich verwöhnt vom damaligen Nexus 10, das über 10000 mAh aufweisen konnte. Kennt sich einer aus und weiß, welche Tablets einen ähnlich großen Akku haben? Nur #Android, kein Apple.

Gaomon PD2200 Windows Enterprise Installer
I wrote this batch because Gaomon builds / assembles very nice graphic tablets but their current driver setup is unusable by default, it installs everything into %userprofile%. It's an Inno setup and the parameters I use below change the default install path to %programfiles% and the setup type to AllUsers.
