In his latest news conference in #Beirut, senior #Hamas official Osama #Hamdan stated that there has been no progress in #ceasefire talks with Israel, emphasizing that Hamas remains prepared to positively deal with any ceasefire proposal aimed at ending the war.

Hamdan also condemned Israel's use of starvation as a form of collective punishment against Palestinians in the Strip, describing it as a "shameful failure" of world leaders to prevent famine in Gaza, staining the conscience of humanity.

🔶️ Israel has vowed to persist with its military operation in Gaza, saying it won’t engage in “meaningless” negotiations with #Hamas, shortly after the United Nations Security Council overwhelmingly approved a US-backed #ceasefire plan intended to bring an end to the eight-month war.

🔶️ Israel’s representative to the UN, Reut Shapir Ben-Naftaly, emphasized at a #UNSC meeting Monday that her country wants to “ensure that Gaza doesn’t pose a threat to Israel in the future.”

🔶️ Her comments came after 14 of the 15 UNSC council members voted in favor of Monday’s US-drafted resolution, with only #Russia abstaining – the first time the council has endorsed such a plan to end the war. Israel is not a member of the UNSC, and so did not vote.

Palestinian resistance claims they attacked an Israeli APC carrying 8 occupation soldiers with a Yasin 105 RPG. Blowing it up and killing or badly injuring all inside.

There are no verified reports about the number of casualties, but these APCs can carry between 6 and 12 soldiers, depending on their equipments.

This is yet another big blow to fascist regime of #Netanyahu who chose war instead of #ceasefire and release of all the #hostages.
