Today in Labor History September 12, 1918: Eugene V. Debs, Labor leader and socialist, was sentenced to 10 years, under the Sedition Act, for opposing World War I. While in jail he received one million votes for president. In the late 1800s, he led several railroad strikes and helped found the American Railway Union. In 1905, he cofounded the IWW, along with Big Bill Haywood, Mother Jones, Lucy Parsons, James Connolly, and others. He ran for president as a socialist five times in his life.

Obama is a self-confessed first-degree murderer.

U.S.A. presidents have no jurisdiction outside of the USA and U.S. territories.
Even within their jurisdiction, they can't just order people to be murdered... or can they?

November 8, 2010 Obama Administration Claims Unchecked Authority To Kill Americans Outside Combat Zones | American Civil Liberties Union — https://www.aclu.org/press-releases/obama-administration-claims-unchecked-authority-kill-americans-outside-combat-zones

January 17 2017 There were ten times more air strikes in the covert war on terror during President Barack Obama’s presidency than under his predecessor, George W. Bush.

Obama embraced the US drone programme, overseeing more strikes in his first year than Bush carried out during his entire presidency. A total of 563 strikes, largely by drones, targeted Pakistan, Somalia and Yemen during Obama’s two terms, compared to 57 strikes under Bush. Between 384 and 807 civilians were killed in those countries, according to reports logged by the Bureau. — https://www.thebureauinvestigates.com/stories/2017-01-17/obamas-covert-drone-war-in-numbers-ten-times-more-strikes-than-bush/

January 20, 2017 1:14 pm (EST) As Donald Trump assumes office today, he inherits a targeted killing program that has been the cornerstone of U.S. counterterrorism strategy over the past eight years.
...

The 542 drone strikes that Obama authorized killed an estimated 3,797 people, including 324 civilians. As he reportedly told senior aides in 2011: “Turns out I’m really good at killing people. Didn’t know that was gonna be a strong suit of mine.”https://www.cfr.org/blog/obamas-final-drone-strike-data

Jul 1, 2016 9:46 AM EDT The Obama administration said Friday that between 64 and 116 civilians have been killed by drone and other U.S. strikes in Pakistan, Yemen and Africa since President Barack Obama took office in 2009.

But the administration’s first such public assessment put the civilian death toll significantly lower than estimates by various human rights groups. These range as high as 1,100 killed. — https://www.pbs.org/newshour/world/obama-to-disclose-how-many-civilians-died-in-u-s-drone-attacks

Huge margins of error, because they really don't care - they are murderers and thugs.

Multiple US Presidents Have Admitted the US "Government" Is Run By Inter-Generational Organized Crime

“Behind the ostensible government sits enthroned an Invisible government owing no allegiance and acknowledging no responsibility to the people. To destroy this invisible government, to befoul this unholy alliance between corrupt business and corrupt politics is the first task of the statesmanship of today.” – Theodore “Teddy” Roosevelt - US President The Progressive Covenant with the People speech, 1912- Audio – Library of Congress

...

“Since I entered politics, I have chiefly had men’s views confided to me privately. Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it.”

-Woodrow Wilson, Former President of the United States, The New Freedom

...

E. Howard Hunt is probably one of the best-known CIA operatives in the world. Tom Cruise’s character Ethan Hunt in the Mission Impossible movies is based on E Howard Hunt and he was arrested as one of the Watergate burglars. On his deathbed he confessed to the CIA’s involvement in the assassination of US President John F. Kennedy including naming Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson and the specific agency personnel involved in the plot: Cord Meyer, David Atlee Phillips, Frank Sturgis, David Morales, Antonio Veciana, William Harvey, and an assassin he termed "French gunman grassy knoll" who many presume is Lucien Sarti.

A Dementia Patient Is President Because It Doesn’t Matter Who The President Is — Caity Johnstone — Feb 9, 2024

...
The special counsel assigned to investigate Joe Biden for mishandling classified documents reports that investigators

“uncovered evidence that President Biden willfully retained and disclosed classified materials after his vice presidency when he was a private citizen,”

but concludes that

“no criminal charges are warranted in this matter.”

Report on the Investigation Into
Unauthorized Removal, Retention, and Disclosure of
Classified Documents Discovered at Locations
Including the Penn Eiden Center and the
Delaware Private Residence of
President Joseph R. Eiden, Jr.
https://www.justice.gov/storage/report-from-special-counsel-robert-k-hur-february-2024.pdf#page=9

In addition. Mr. Biden's memory was significantly limited, both during his
recorded interviews with the ghostwriter in 2017, and in his interview with our office in 2023. And his cooperation with our investigation, including by reporting to the government that the Afghanistan documents were in his Delaware garage, will likely convince some jurors that he made an innocent mistake, rather than acting willfully-that is, with intent to break the law-as the statute requires.
...
Given Mr. Biden's limited precision and recall during his interviews with his
ghostwriter and with our office, jurors may hesitate to place too much evidentiary weight on a single eight-word utterance ...
...
We have also considered that, at trial, Mr. Eiden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory. Based on our direct interactions with and observations of him, he is someone for whom many jurors will want to identify reasonable doubt. It would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him-by then a former president well into his eighties-of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness.

Joe Biden just did the rarest thing in US politics: he stood up to the oil industry

The Biden administration suspended new permits for natural gas terminals. Can we see more of this kind of backbone?

Ten days ago Joe Biden did something remarkable, and almost without precedent – he actually said no to big oil.

His administration halted the granting of new permits for building liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminals, something Washington had been handing out like M&Ms on Halloween for nearly a decade. It’s a provisional “no” – Department of Energy experts will spend the coming months figuring out a new formula for granting the licenses that takes the latest science and economics into account – but you can tell what a big deal it is because of the howls of rage coming from the petroleum industry and its gaggle of politicians.

And you can tell something else too: just how threadbare their arguments have become over time. Biden has called their bluff, and it’s beautiful to watch.

Our System Needs to Be Broken, and He Is the Man to Do It’ - POLITICO here

I used to believe the system was broken. I now believe it has been functioning the way its intended and needs to be broken. I don't know if Trump 47 is the right man to do it, but I will do what I have always done: support the candidate with whom I most agree on the issues, regardless of their chance of winning, and let chips lie where they will.

Right now that would be Libertarian Jacob Hornberger but there is a lot of time between now and November. Trump, Biden & Hornberger are all over 70 years old, health becomes a real concern & all three major parties could end up with different nominees.

I've been asking who people see as possible #POTUS with such traits as experience, intelligence,
calm, resourceful, compassionate, #charismatic to bring us forward through vastly complex troubled times.

So far there has not been much response, but these people have been seen by some:

Pete Buttigieg
Michele Obama
Katie Porter
Jon Stewart

History repeats itself.

Some thousand years ago, the #pope:

The Papal Dictates were radical in two major ways. First of all, they elevated the bishop of Rome above all other bishoprics, creating the modern #papacy. Clause 3 ruled that the pope alone had the #power of investiture to appoint bishops or to depose or reinstate them. Reinforcing this, Clause 25 gave the right of appointing (or deposing) bishops to the pope, not to local rulers. And Clause 12 gave the pope the right to depose emperors, following Clause 9, obliging “all princes to kiss the feet of the Pope alone” in order to be deemed legitimate rulers.

Today the #POTUS:

Likewise today, U.S. diplomats claim the right to name who should be recognized as a nation’s head of state. In 1953 they overthrew Iran’s elected leader and replaced him with the Shah’s military dictatorship. That principle gives U.S. diplomats the right to sponsor “color revolutions” for regime-change, such as their sponsorship of Latin American military dictatorships creating client oligarchies to serve U.S. corporate and financial interests. The 2014 coup in Ukraine is just the latest exercise of this U.S. right to appoint and depose leaders.
