Ash Reshteh-Persian Noodle soup 🍲
- 1/2 cup green lentils
- 1/3 cup red beans
- 1/3 cup mung beans
- 1/3 cup chickpeas
Soak in water for 12 hours then wash and strain. Put in a big pot ,cover with water bring to boil and cook on medium heat 40 minutes.add salt, turmeric,black pepper.
Add 1/2 bunch parsley chopped, 1/2 bunch cilantro chopped, 150 gram chopped frozen spinach , 1 bunch chopped scallions/ chives.cook for another 20 minutes.
In a large skillet fry 4-5 big onions sliced to half moon with 5-6 tablespoons oil till golden brown.add 1-2 teaspoons turmeric and mix. Take out 2/3 of the fry onion (for garnish)and pour in small bowl. Add 2 tablespoons dried mint to the 1/3 fry onion that left in the skillet and mix for one minute on low heat and add to beans pot .pour water if necessary. Add Persian noodles (1/2 bag) let cook 20 minutes.
Serve in bowl with fry onion and yogurt on top.💕Enjoy!

Shivid-Baghali-Polo with salmon and pickea is one of my favorites.
Rice with dill and fava beans and oven baked salmon or any other tasty fish is the traditional food prepared for the new year's dinner in most parts of Iran.
Being member of an Iranian door enthusiast group is like a daily torture seeing all these well prepared delicious food fotographed by people who do a much better job that i ever can, is not good for my "buy nothing" days that will end next week. Have to fight the temptation to run to the shop and buy some salmon to cook some for dinner!

US fighter jet intercepts #Iran passenger plane over #Syria airspace
#Iran's media say at least one #US fighter jet came dangerously close to an #Iranian passenger plane in #Syrian airspace, forcing it to quickly change course and altitude, resulting in injuries - a claim denied by the #US, who said its F-15 jet was at a safe distance
(but still inspecting an Iranian passneger aeroplane over Syrian airspace).
Now imagine if an Iranian (or Russian) jet had approached a BA passenger airplane to inspect it over French airspace, and think of the headlines the western media would have then.
