#free-speech

t’s happening again.

The anticipation here at #LondonReal Studios is palpable as #DavidIcke returns for a tenth #interview in the landmark Rose/Icke series, set to broadcast live on August 23 at 6 pm UK time/1 pm EST. This series, which started in 2020 amidst #global #turmoil, has captivated audiences #worldwide with its controversial discussions, unfiltered content and unique perspectives.

And Rose/Icke X: “The Reveal” promises to be the most important conversation yet, hosted exclusively on our Digital Freedom Platform.

A #flashback to #2020

Back in 2020, the world was gripped by the #COVID-19 #plandemic.

#Governments across the #globe implemented #lockdowns, enforced stringent #censorship, and imposed policies that many viewed as infringing on personal freedoms.

Amidst this chaos, London Real took a bold step by broadcasting an interview that would become one of our most watched and talked-about conversations: Rose/Icke I.

This inaugural interview featured #BrianRose, the founder of London Real, and David Icke, the instantly recognisable author, researcher and broadcaster known for his controversial theories and outspoken criticism of mainstream narratives. The conversation delved into topics that were both provocative and polarising, challenging the official accounts of the pandemic and the measures taken to combat it.

The evolution of Rose/Icke

Since that groundbreaking interview, the Rose/Icke series has grown into a significant platform for free speech and alternative viewpoints. With nine episodes already in the archive, each instalment has pushed boundaries and sparked debate, resonating with a global audience seeking perspectives often ignored or dismissed by traditional media… even resulting in London Real being deplatformed by YouTube for simply broadcasting a conversation.

#TheReveal: what to expect

“The Reveal,” the tenth episode in the series, is generating immense excitement. Scheduled to air exclusively on London Real’s Digital Freedom Platform, this conversation promises to be unfiltered and uncensored, staying true to our commitment to #free-speech.

While specific details about the topics to be discussed remain under wraps, it is expected that Icke will address current global events, ongoing political and social issues, and revisit some of his earlier predictions and theories in light of recent developments. Given the title “The Reveal,” audiences across the planet are anticipating revelations that could provoke thought and stir controversy.

The significance of the Digital Freedom Platform

The choice to broadcast this interview on the Digital Freedom Platform is significant. Launched by London Real in response to increasing censorship on mainstream social media and video platforms, the Digital Freedom Platform aims to provide a space where voices like Icke’s can be heard without fear of being silenced. It underscores a broader movement advocating for the preservation of free speech in an era where many feel it is under threat.

Em' is not a word or an abbreviation for a word. The apostrophes in abbreviations go where the letters are elided. For example, can't is an abbreviation for can not. The apostrophe goes where the n and o are elided. So what word or phrase begins with em and ends with one or more letters?

Pitiful. This woman bought this sign. Illiterate children have been selling these since at least 2020, and illiterates have been buying them.

A Right to Warn about Advanced Artificial Intelligence

https://righttowarn.ai/

So long as there is no effective government oversight of these corporations, current and former employees are among the few people who can hold them accountable to the public. Yet broad confidentiality agreements block us from voicing our concerns, except to the very companies that may be failing to address these issues. Ordinary whistleblower protections are insufficient because they focus on illegal activity, whereas many of the risks we are concerned about are not yet regulated.

...

We therefore call upon advanced AI companies to commit to these principles:

  1. That the company will not enter into or enforce any agreement that prohibits “disparagement” or criticism of the company for risk-related concerns, nor retaliate for risk-related criticism by hindering any vested economic benefit;
  2. That the company will facilitate a verifiably anonymous process for current and former employees to raise risk-related concerns to the company’s board, to regulators, and to an appropriate independent organization with relevant expertise;
  3. That the company will support a culture of open criticism and allow its current and former employees to raise risk-related concerns about its technologies to the public, to the company’s board, to regulators, or to an appropriate independent organization with relevant expertise, so long as trade secrets and other intellectual property interests are appropriately protected;
  4. That the company will not retaliate against current and former employees who publicly share risk-related confidential information after other processes have failed. We accept that any effort to report risk-related concerns should avoid releasing confidential information unnecessarily. Therefore, once an adequate process for anonymously raising concerns to the company’s board, to regulators, and to an appropriate independent organization with relevant expertise exists, we accept that concerns should be raised through such a process initially. However, as long as such a process does not exist, current and former employees should retain their freedom to report their concerns to the public.

Open Letter to College and University Presidents on Student Protests

Academic freedom and free speech are essential. Universities must protect them.

https://www.aclu.org/news/free-speech/open-letter-to-college-and-university-presidents-on-student-protests

  • Schools must not single out particular viewpoints for censorship, discipline, or disproportionate punishment
  • Schools must protect students from discriminatory harassment and violence
  • Schools can announce and enforce reasonable content-neutral protest policies but they must leave ample room for students to express themselves
  • Schools must recognize that armed police on campus can endanger students and are a measure of last resort
  • Schools must resist the pressures placed on them by politicians seeking to exploit campus tensions

US Universities Should Respect Right to Protest

End Crackdown on Peaceful Pro-Palestinian Protests

https://www.hrw.org/news/2024/04/26/us-universities-should-respect-right-protest

There have been troubling reports of antisemitic incidents in and around Columbia University’s campus. Allegations of antisemitic acts and speech by individuals, as well as acts of Islamophobia and other forms of discrimination, should be investigated and addressed on the merits in a case-by-case basis, through fair and transparent processes.\
\
As protests spread to campuses across the country, university administrations should be careful not to mislabel criticism of Israeli government policies or advocacy for Palestinian rights as inherently antisemitic or to misuse university authority to quash peaceful protest. Instead, universities should safeguard people’s rights to assembly and free expression.

Another Enlightenment Fraud

Again and again and again, we see that the “human rights” promoted by the self-styled “liberals” of the #Enlightenment were always fraudulent to their very core. Here we see in #England how so-called “equality” only goes one way and works systematically to the #disadvantage of #boys:

One of the biggest girls’ football leagues in the country faces being shut down by the Football Association for refusing to allow a boy to play in its matches.

The Mail on Sunday can reveal that a row has broken out between the FA and officials running a female league in Yorkshire after parents complained their son had not been allowed to join.

It is understood the FA has threatened the West Riding Girls Football League with sanctions and a possible suspension if it does not agree to let boys on the pitch, a scenario officials have branded ‘a massive threat to the girls’ game’.

Last week an emergency meeting was held by organisers of the league – which has at least 6,000 under-18 girls playing across more than 300 teams – where managers voiced their concerns that allowing boys to play would ‘open the floodgates’.

The FA’s gender policy states that any under-16 teams must allow both boys and girls to play, despite admitting that ‘physical strength, stamina or physique’ can put one sex at the disadvantage of the other. Fiona McAnena, at sex-based rights group Sex Matters, said: ‘A boy on the pitch changes everything. The law is clear that female-only sport is allowed. It’s sex discrimination for the FA to tell girls they must accept a male player.’

Top girls’ football league faces being shut down, THE DAILY MAIL, 3 March 2024

This is what inevitably happens when reality intrudes upon the #dogmatic #Enlightenment #principles to which the #secular champions of #social-justice have been appealing for more than 200 years. Whenever the #ideological #principle violates their #identity #priority, the principle always crumbles into dust.

We’ve seen it with #free-speech, as that has been trumped by the need for protect the ability of one group to believe they were uniquely persecuted in the 20th Century and for another group to ignore crime statistics. We’ve seen it with “democracy”, as that has been trumped by the need of #ClownWorld #governments to ignore the will of the people. And now we see it with “equality”, as three generations of unrestrained #assaults on #male-only-activities are suddenly jettisoned as soon as #female-only-activities are threatened.

We are somehow supposed to believe that #equality means telling girls they must accept a male player is #sex #discrimination, while not telling boys they must accept a female player is also sex discrimination. Which is, of course, a certain sign that #satanic #inversion is somehow involved.

The #Enlightenment is the philosophical basis for Clown World. It is an #outdated and #sophistic #philosophy that will disappear in the aftermath of Clown World’s #demise.

Saudi Crown Prince Confirms Death Sentence for Tweets

https://www.hrw.org/news/2023/09/22/saudi-crown-prince-confirms-death-sentence-tweets

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, known as MBS, has confirmed that retired teacher Muhammed al Ghamdi was indeed sentenced to death for his social media posts. In an interview with Fox News on September 20, MBS admitted about the death sentence: “Shamefully, it's true,” and blamed the sentence on “bad laws.”\
\
“Do we have bad laws? Yes. Are we are changing that? Yes,” he said.\
\
MBS is right in saying that he is working to change bad laws: under his rule, bad laws have only become worse.

Ah, so that's what being a free-speech absolutist means.

Twitter sues anti-hate speech group over ‘tens of millions of dollars’ in lost advertising

The lawsuit ... claimed that ... at least eight organisations and companies, including multinational corporations that have advertised on X historically, had paused spending on the platform in June and July after reading CCDH reports. The lawsuit added that a further five separate companies, including large multinationals, had paused advertising spending plans around November last year – shortly after Musk’s purchase of the company – after reading CCDH research.

He's fine with people spreading rank lies on his platform even when those lies hurt others, but not when people publish factual information that might have an adverse impact on him.

On Friday The Guardian Australia website carried a news report, with a follow-up piece on Monday, whose implications for #free-speech are profoundly disturbing.

They concern a Radio New Zealand, or RNZ, broadcasting employee — unnamed, but everyone in the small New Zealand broadcasting world will soon know who it is — who has been placed on leave while their professional conduct is investigated. Obviously, a career hangs in the balance.

The malign ghosts of Orwell’s 1984 stalk this story.

‘Russian Garbage’

This unnamed person in RNZ committed the cardinal sin of “inappropriate editing” of incoming Reuters news feeds on the war in Ukraine to insert “Russian garbage” in the contemptuous words of Paul Thompson, chief executive of RNZ. That is to say, they drew on Russian news sources to insert balancing pro-Russian material to the incoming Western news agency feeds.

FBI must be abolished – former US presidential candidate

https://invidious.namazso.eu/watch?v=QhcCDGW4SSo
http://ronpaulinstitute.org/archives/featured-articles/2022/december/19/twitter-files-make-it-clear-we-must-abolish-the-fbi/

The agency used its influence at #Twitter to #unconstitutionally crush #free-speech, retired congressman #RonPaul argues

The #FBI used proprietary backchannels at Twitter to infringe on Americans’ #FirstAmendment rights and should be “ #abolished,” former #US Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul stated on Monday.

While Twitter has previously skirted accusations of violating Americans’ right to free speech by arguing it is a private corporation, Paul pointed out that recently released internal communications between employees of the social media giant and #government officials in the FBI and other agencies confirm the platform was acting as a surrogate of the state.

“Now we have proof that the FBI (along with US intelligence agencies and the Department of Homeland Security) have been acting through ‘private’ social media companies to manipulate what Americans are allowed to say when they #communicate with each other,” the former Texas congressman wrote in his weekly column for his website, the Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity.

“We do not need the FBI and #CIA and other federal agencies viewing us as the enemy and attacking our #Constitution. #End-the-Fed…and end the #Federal-Bureau-of-Investigation!” Paul concluded, referencing his long-standing call to liquidate the US’ privately-held central bank.

FBI agents emailed Twitter Trust and Safety chief #YoelRoth about 150 times between 2020 and 2022, according to internal communications released by platform CEO #ElonMusk earlier this month, with most messages involving requests for #censorship. However, even as Musk was releasing the Twitter documents, former FBI general counsel turned Twitter lawyer #JimBaker was ‘vetting’ the messages, allegedly without Musk’s knowledge. When this was brought to the billionaire’s attention, Baker was dismissed – but not before he had reshaped the narrative.

Twitter has reportedly hired dozens of FBI agents and other intelligence and military veterans in recent years, raising questions about the platform’s impartiality even before a lawsuit filed by the Missouri and Louisiana attorneys general revealed earlier this year that employees were regularly meeting with representatives of US government agencies to coordinate the #banning and #suppression of certain accounts and narratives.

While Paul questioned the media’s failure to make the #TwitterFiles the scandal that he felt they deserved, he was encouraged by a recent survey showing 70% of Americans believe Congress must take action to end #collusion between #BigTech and #BigBrother.

The FBI said in a statement released following the publication of the Twitter Files that the agency “regularly engages with private sector entities to provide information specific to identified foreign malign influence actors’ subversive, undeclared, covert or criminal activities.” It added that “private sector entities independently make decisions about what, if any, action they take on their platforms and for their customers after the FBI has notified them.”
