I reached the REAL #SOURCE of the #GANGA River - JiemaYangzong Glacier on my way to touch Mt. #Kailash.
Everyone knows that #Lake #Manasarovar is the source of the #Brahmaputra #River, but few knows that the river’s true origin lies beneath the majestic peaks of Mount Kailash at the Jiemayangzong Glacier. On my journey from #Lhasa to #MountKailash, I drove 50 kilometers off the G219 main raod, traversing deserts and uninhabited areas to visit the Jiemayangzong Glacier—the true source of the Brahmaputra, which nurtures Asia’s greatest river. It is hard to imagine that the roaring waters, which surge through the lush forests of eastern Tibet and flow through the plains of India before eventually emptying into the Indian Ocean, originate from these snow-capped peaks and layers of glacial ice. This is where the lifeblood of Asian #humanity begins.
If Lake Manasarovar’s waters are revered and worth the long journey to Tibet, then its source, the Jiemayangzong Glacier, is even more magnificent and full of vitality. It deserves to be visited on your way to Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar. I fondly refer to it as the real source of life for humanity in Asia.
In addition to seeking out the source of the Brahmaputra River, I also visited the border between Tibet and Mustang region of Nepal at an elevation of 4,700 meters. Here, expansive pastures abound with thriving cattle and sheep, where lovely border Tibetan people and bustling Nepalese merchants coexist. Nestled deep in the Himalayas is a vibrant agricultural market. From this beautiful, vast, and fertile border pasture, the breathtaking views of the 8,091-meter #Annapurna snow peak and the undulating mountains are simply magnificent. This is a scenery that ordinary tourists seldom see, and I hope that when you travel to Mount Kailash in #Tibet, you will visit this place, which can become another unforgettable highlight of your journey to the western Tibetan Plateau.
Finally, I arrived in the town of Tarchen at the foot of Mount Kailash, where I will start my second #journey to touch the mt. Kailash since 2020.

Une région reculée du Japon où la nature a gardé sa majesté. Un long très long plan sur la canopée d’une forêt de pins. Le silence en point d’orgue. Que du bonheur ! Au loin le bruit d’une cognée, un bûcheron qui coupe son bois. C’est magnifique avec une musique sublime, une photographie digne des grandes estampes japonaises. Mais un projet de « camping-glamour » vient rompre cette belle harmonie. L’inquiétude des résidents sur l’implantation d’une fosse septique qui pourrait polluer la source du village, sur les capacités d’hébergement, le danger sur l’équilibre écologique, sur la perturbation du passage des cerfs… Que du concret, très concret….. Un plan sur le Tokyo des investisseurs, des 4x4 et même du plastique, pour faire comprendre l’ « évolution » des choses. Puis soudain avec la disparition d’une enfant tout devient flou, fou, irréel. Un trou noir, un mystère éprouvant pour le spectateur lambda que je suis. J’en suis restée pantoise, égarée et même perdue. Reste la beauté des paysages, le silence et une musique en communion. Ce n’est pas rien. Je pense ne pas être tout à fait en phase avec la complexité de la pensée japonaise. Mireille MOUTTE

Maa Kushmanda is very fond of the sacrifice of Kumhada कुम्हड़ा फल (Also known as Petha, Ash Gourd or Kumahada) and in Sanskrit, Kumhada is called Kushmanda, that is why this form of Maa Durga is called Kushmanda. It is believed that by worshiping Maa Kushmanda in Navratri, all the diseases, sorrows and fears of the seeker are removed and he gets infinite grace and desired boon of the Goddess.
There are many forms of Goddess Durga, but the form of Maa Kushmanda is among the most striking; she radiates as brightly as the sun.
The mantra of Kushmanda Maa :
Maa Kushmanda resides in the Anahata Chakra so, she is worshipped by meditating in the Anahata Chakra. Through her blessings, her devotees are able to overcome diseases, evil eyes, and grief. She grants fame, strength and longevity to her devotees who chant the following mantras:-

She is the happy manifestation of Maa Durga better known as the “Smiling Goddess”, therefore, Maa Kushmanda is synonymous with happiness. Those who worship Maa Kushmanda are blessed with happiness, prosperity, an abundance of knowledge, good health, and long life. In this form of Durga, darkness is believed to be eradicated from the world by her #smile.
The worshipers of Maa Kushmanda enjoy good vision, mental freedom, and positive social standing.
