He co-sponsored legislation introduced by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene that would make it a crime to provide gender-affirming care to people under 18 years of age. The list goes on and on.

On his social medias, the Advisor to The Far-Right/Kahanist Israeli Interior Minister Ben Gvir, Mr. Yishai Fleisher, made an interesting statement over the ongoing judicial reform in Israel
According to him, the Judicial Reform pushed by the Rightist Coalition in Israel is nothing more, but "the erosion of the old State structures" in favor a process that will eventually lead to a "freedom-protecting and God-fearing Davidic Monarchy"
In other words, what he means is that the Judicial Reform is nothing more than the beginning of a transition from the Secular Israeli State, made in 1948 by Ben Gurion, to an Apocalyptic Restoration of Israel's "Ancien Regime", the Monarchy from biblical times, that according to him would be like United Arab Emirates (UAE) Monarchy
Interesting to note that Mr. Fleisher implies that such a monarchy would be led by "Mashiach"/"Moshiach", the Jewish Messiah that Jews around the world have been waiting for centuries to lead the Eretz Yisrael during the end of the world, and that many Christian and Muslim branches consider to be the "Anti -Christ"/"Al-Masih ad-Dajjal"

Having spent a decade in a dominionist church, this behaviour bothers me quite a bit. It's like the political weaponising of trans people. If you haven't spent time in one of those places and seen how dog whistling works, you wouldn't believe how people can be manipulated into supporting crazy anti-democratic ideas.
You also wouldn't believe how widespread this is. Because the dog whistle can be quite subtle in comparison to other media headlines Australians tend to think we're immune to the kind of thinking that saw retrogressive judges appointed to the Supreme Court and then overturn Roe. Scott Morrison's behaviour shows it's closer to happening here than you'd like.
The way trans people are portrayed by some Liberal politicians as a threat shows how mainstream religious thinking can become. Australia doesn't have quite the same hangups about abortion as the US does, so they've targeted trans rights. It's horribly cruel aside from being a dog whistle for theocracy.
And if you're wondering about that, it's contradictory within the belief system. It's the only form of leadership which Jesus specifically forbade. "The rulers of the gentiles lord it over them but it shall not be so among you."

Abortion rights advocates and providers filed a federal lawsuit in Texas on Tuesday seeking to block a new state law empowering individuals to sue anyone who helps a woman get an abortion, including those who provide financial assistance or drive a patient to a clinic. [emphasis mine]
A dozen states have passed laws banning abortion after about six weeks of pregnancy. But the Texas law, set to take effect in September, goes further by incentivizing private citizens to help enforce the ban — awarding them at least $10,000 if their court challenges are successful. Proponents of the measure, which had the backing of the Republican governor, cheered passage of the “heartbeat bill” as a landmark victory and denounced the lawsuit filed Tuesday.
But abortion providers say the law, known as S.B. 8, is unconstitutional and will subject them to endless lawsuits, shut down clinics and reduce services — and they say it will isolate abortion patients by undermining support networks for pregnant women.

Although abortion patients themselves cannot be sued under the Texas law, a controlling parent, disapproving neighbor or abusive spouse could target the woman’s doctor in court to try to stop the abortion.

Similar measures that ban abortion after a doctor detects a fetal heartbeat, or around six weeks of pregnancy, have passed recently in other states, including this year in Idaho and Oklahoma. But federal judges have prevented those measures from taking effect.
The Texas law is more difficult to block, opponents say, because it is enforced by private lawsuits, not state government officials who are typically the defendants in federal constitutional challenges.
