Is Navalny Dead?

Let's wait to decide.

https://www.hrw.org/news/2024/02/16/russia-navalny-dies-prison

A spokesperson for Navalny has not yet confirmed his death and has said his lawyer is flying to the prison colony. She said she will not comment further until she has more information.

Declaring him dead is a cheap way to make his sentence a life sentence. It's also an excuse for holding him incommunicado. Why not just kill him and pretend it was "natural causes"? Maybe because that causes Navalny himself less suffering. On the other hand, Putin has tried to kill him before now.

One thing I'm pretty sure about: if Navalny is dead, he didn't die of natural causes.

Enormous #Pre-Flood #Mega-Structure Discovered in #Siberia
Universe Inside You

Jan 13, 2024

"The Gornaya Shoria #megaliths, as they came to be known, consisted of immense stone blocks, appearing to be granite, characterized by flat surfaces and right angles. What was even more shocking was the estimated weight of the stone, which was more than 3,000 tons. This would make the Gornaya Shoria megaliths - the largest megalithic stones ever discovered in human history."

#siberia #wolves
I've forgotten how many years ago I wrote this.
Wild Siberian Wolf
I’m in Siberia.
There’s nothing and no one ahead.
There’s nothing and no one behind.
There’s only breathing and my eyes blinking.
I’ll think a thought and feel warm tears on my cold face.
I lie down on the ground and cover my eyes.
I don’t want to see anything.
I only want to take my last breath.
But no. I know it. I know it.
A wild Siberia wolf will arrive. He will lick my cheek,
and howl a howl that can be heard from Siberia to Mongolia.

“Go ahead, I think, rip my throat out."
He’ll lie down beside me and our breathing
will become as one.
I’ll wake up in my bed and the bright Sun will be shining.
I’ll reach out to touch the wolf beside me.
He won’t be there.
I close my eyes and see
I’m in Siberia.
There’s nothing and no one ahead.
There’s nothing and no one behind.

SIBERIAN FIRE
“What are you holding out for?”
They always ask.
“You aren’t getting any younger.”
“You can’t have everything you want.”
“Nobody’s perfect.”
At times I’m sorry I know the difference
between the real thing and a pale imitation.

I’ve never been any good at
Selling out or Settling.
I tell the man who wants me
“I would only make you unhappy
with my unhappiness.
I would feel nothing
when you touched me.
I would feel nothing
when you kissed me.
I would not be thinking of you.
I think of someone else.”
I hardly have to close my eyes
to see him.
He who doesn’t exist ~.
but is ever present before me.

When I close my eyes
I see him better.
Just the sight thrills me
like nothing or anyone else.
I take a deep breath,
and breathe him into myself.
My last breath will be of him.

Oh, life can be cold, lonely
and harsh.
There in the distance
with his back to me~
he is walking alone
out in the middle of
miles and miles of Siberia-
vast and desolate.
He is trying not to drop down
from exhaustion into the deep snow,
fall asleep, and die.
He is trying to stay warm.

The sky above him is
blue and beautiful
The air is clean and fresh.
The Sun shines on him~
The Gods love him.

Oh, he is my Heart’s Desire.
I want to put my hand on his back
hold him and kiss him -
to keep him warm and encouraged -
but I must keep my distance.
I am Siberian Fire - too intense.

#railroads #russia #siberia
The Trans-Siberian Railway, historically known as the Great Siberian Route is a large railway system that connects European Russia to the Russian Far East. Spanning a length of over 9,289 kilometers (5,772 miles), it is the longest railway line in the world. It runs from the city of Moscow in the west to the city of Vladivostok in the east.

  • During the period of the Russian Empire, government ministers—personally appointed by Alexander III and his son Nicholas II—supervised the building of the railway network between 1891 and 1916. Even before its completion, the line attracted travelers who documented their experiences. Since 1916, the Trans-Siberian Railway has directly connected Moscow with Vladivostok. As of 2021, expansion projects remain underway, with connections being built to Russia's neighbors (namely Mongolia, China, and North Korea). Additionally, there have been proposals and talks to expand the network to Tokyo, Japan, with new bridges or tunnels that would connect the mainland railway through the Russian island of Sakhalin and the Japanese island of Hokkaido. After years of studying the genetics and morphology of the long-frozen nematodes, Shatilovich and her colleagues now claim that the reanimated worms are a previously-undescribed species—one from 46,000 years ago, making them the oldest living animals on the planet.
