Ukraine has attack drones with range of over 1,000 kilometers, says Fedorov

A series of attacks in recent months have targeted oil refineries deep inside Russia. Multiple refineries reportedly lost capacity after the attacks and Russia is planning to reduce diesel exports from its Black and Baltic Sea ports in April to the lowest level in five months.

"Most of the drones that attacked Russian oil refineries have a range of 700 to 1,000 kilometers, but now there are models that can fly over 1000 km," Fedorov said.

Ukrainian drones attack 3 oil refineries in Russia, airfield in Voronezh Oblast

Ukrainian drones attacked three oil refineries in Russia, as well as a Russian Air Force air base, and an airfield in Voronezh Oblast overnight on March 13, Ukrainska Pravda reported, citing an unnamed source in the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).

Oil refineries were allegedly attacked in Ryazan, in the cities of Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, and Kirishi, Leningrad Oblast, according to the media outlet.

The attacks, which Ukrainska Pravda's source called "a continuation of a series of special operations against Russian oil refineries that were launched earlier," were reportedly carried out by the SBU itself.

"Our task is to deprive the enemy of resources and reduce the flow of money from oil and fuel that the aggressor direct to the war and the killing of Ukrainian citizens," the unnamed source told the media outlet.

Syrian Air Defense shot down two American drones of an advanced type, RQ-21 Blackjack, over the Raqqa countryside. The drone is used by the US Navy and Marine Corps, produced by Boeing Insitu. It is used for reconnaissance, electronic intelligence, and communications spying missions, with high-resolution cameras working at day and night.

This simple and rather deadly device is said to have been used by the Ukrainians in their fight against Russian positions as well as APCs.
I am not sure how useful they are and how they can even reach their targets as the weight of the RPG is significantly heavier than what a small engine like the one in the image can carry, much less accurately reach the target, not to forget that standard RPGs require a high velocity impact in order to detonate.

But it seems to be working!

Turkish drone manufacturer #Baykar has begun construction of factory near Kyiv

#Bayraktar told Reuters at the sidelines of the World Defense Show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, that the factory is already being built and will need one year to complete construction.

The plant aims to employ around 500 people, he said.

The factory's planned output is around 120 units per year, but it is unclear exactly which drone model will be produced.

When asked if security concerns had caused any hesitation, Bayraktar said the plans were were "fully moving ahead" and that "nothing" would stop them.

The Unmanned Systems Forces will reportedly focus specifically on improving Ukraine's work with drones, creating special drone-specific units, ramping up training, systemizing their use, increasing production, and pushing innovation.

According to the President's Office, the division will aim to "increase the capabilities of Ukraine's Armed Forces and to use unmanned and robotic air, sea, and ground systems."

Russia faces critical shortage of modern air defense systems

Andrey Kartapolov, the chair of the Russian parliament’s defense committee, has made a statement regarding the Russian army’s inability to defend St. Petersburg, the second-largest city in Russia, from attacks by Ukrainian kamikaze drones.

In his statement, Kartapolov acknowledged the significance of St. Petersburg, referring to it as the second capital and a place of great importance for Russia due to its historical and political significance. However, he pointed out that it is currently “impossible” to shield the city with an impenetrable air defense system.

Russian missile ship sunk off occupied Crimea

Ukraine's military intelligence (HUR) said on Feb. 1 that its operatives sunk a Russian #Tarantul-class Ivanovets missile corvette from the Black Sea Fleet overnight off of occupied #Crimea.

Ukraine's military intelligence released a video of a naval drone approaching a ship and an ensuing explosion.

The accompanying message said that the #Ivanovets received "direct hits to its hull" and was irreparably damaged. The Ivanovets #sunk afterward, the military intelligence said.
