The New Yorker magazine's Jane Mayer has revealed Trump's pick for
defense secretary, Pete Hegseth, was forced out of leadership roles at
two veterans organizations for misusing funds, sexually harassing women
and being repeatedly drunk on the job. According to a whistleblower
report, Hegseth once had to be restrained from joining dancers on the
stage of a strip club. In another incident, Hegseth drunkenly chanted
"Kill All Muslims! Kill All Muslims!" at a bar in 2015.
Meanwhile, The New York Times reports Hegseth's own mother once accused
him of mistreating women. In 2018, Penelope Hegseth wrote him an email
that read in part, "On behalf of all the women (and I know it's many)
you have abused in some way, I say … get some help and take an honest
look at yourself." The email was sent a year after a woman accused
Hegseth of raping her at a California hotel.

I’m so freaking sick the hypocrisy of the world and the silence of almost everyone who don’t seems to have any empathy for the victims of the out of control genocidal regime of Netanyahu.
The fucking “world” didn’t even lift a finger when these pigs recorded gang raping one of their victims. Why would they care about a man they can’t even pronounce his name being killed during one of those rape/torture sessions that Israeli soldiers do to defend themselves.
Gaza was a test. And accurately uncovered how disgustingly inhumane people are. If the live broadcast of an ongoing genocide doesn’t get them to stop their support of Israel, then it just simply proves that their hate of Palestinians, Arabs abs Muslims is far greater than their fake humanity.
And for the case of Dr Adnan Elbarsh, he will be just another name on the long list of the victims of the colonialist project of Israeli state.

Hegseth's activity seems to fall short of that of fantasist Bill O'Reilly, but will likely cost him a return to Fox, so he has to be counting on confirmation.

These days, we are witnessing antisemitic outrage nearly everywhere: on campus, in the cultural sphere, in subculture, on the streets, in social media. This is nothing new, but it is getting more intense, more aggressive, like the city’s new steady pulse. People, synagogues and other buildings, campuses and venues are attacked, public speeches are shouted down, #Israeli institutions and academics are boycotted.
The #sexual #violence of the 7th October is denied or justified by so-called #feminist activists. #Hamas #propaganda manifests itself and is multiplied by social media. People are excited by the terror of 7th October – by #torture, #murder, and #rape. Objecting this propaganda is usually decried as #racist.
When the ‘ #PunksAgainstAntisemitism’ (AKA Punks) surfaced in Berlin in the aftermath of #7thOctober, a huge shitstorm on social media followed. People were spewing their unsolicited hatred, and the hatred did not take long to spread, coming from Australia, the Netherlands, Spain, Ireland... Bands and venues are threatened with boycott.
The mechanisms seem to be the same in every sector. #Screaming down people, #doxing, verbal #threats and physical #attacks, boycott campaigns.
Our panel does not exclusively aim to focus on Berlin or subculture. We want to speak about the processes currently at work in the multifaceted world of vile antisemitism. This antisemitism elates and excites people, a new lifestyle that encourages them to terrorise #Jews and others while being thoroughly convinced to do something good.

Sina Yousefi, a lawyer, announced the assassination attempt of a lawyer by publishing pictures on social media and wrote:
Afshin Ghasemi, who is a prominent human rights lawyer and a member of the Central Bar Association, was attacked today at around five in the evening by armed and unknown people.
He had previously been threatened by unknown agents related to the case party for taking charge of a case in which there were accusations of #rape against women.
It is said that the assailants were three people armed with firearms and cold weapons, who rode in a "Persia" car (without license plate) in an almost busy area and assaulted this lawyer.
At the same time as the international day of lawyers at risk (2024) is dedicated to Iranian lawyers, the government of Iran does not take any security and legal measures to prevent the murder and assassination of lawyers, but puts their lives under threat with propaganda measures against lawyers.

افشین قاسمی وکیل دادگستری و عضو کانون وکلای مرکز امروز در حدود ساعت پنج عصر مورد سوقصد افراد مسلح و ناشناس قرار گرفت.
ایشان قبلاً بخاطر بر عهده گرفتن پروندهای که در آن اتهامات #تجاوز به زنان وجود داشت، مورد تهدید از سوی عوامل ناشناس و مرتبط با طرف پرونده قرار گرفته بود.
گفته میشود ضاربین سه نفر فرد مسلح به سلاح گرم و سرد بودند که سوار بر خودروی پرشیا (بدون پلاک) در یک منطقه تقریبا پر رفت و آمد اقدام به ضرب و جرح این وکیل دادگستری نمودهاند.
همزمان با اختصاص روز جهانی وکلای در معرض خطر (۲۰۲۴) به وکلای ایران، حکومت ایران هیچ اقدام تامینی و قانونی در راستای جلوگیری از قتل و سوقصد به وکلا انجام نمیدهد بلکه با اقدامات تبلیغی علیه وکلا، جان آنها را در معرض تهدید قرار میدهد.
