Wussten Sie, dass 12 Millionen Deutsche nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg ethnisch gesäubert wurden?

Wussten Sie, dass eine halbe Million von ihnen ermordet wurden, weil sie Deutsch sprachen? Dass Kinder in einer Reihe aufgestellt und erschossen wurden? „Weit über zwei Millionen Frauen und Kinder wurden am Ende des Krieges vergewaltigt. Viele von ihnen starben oder begingen Selbstmord.“ In der Tschechoslowakei stellte man deutsche Zivilisten (viele von ihnen lebten dort seit Jahrhunderten) in einer Reihe auf und überfuhr sie mit Lastwagen. Man zwang sie, ihre eigenen Gräber auszuheben. Nicht alle von ihnen waren Deutsche. Manche von ihnen sprachen einfach nur Deutsch. 12 Millionen deutsche Zivilisten wurden aus Osteuropa vertrieben – man raubte ihnen gewaltsam ihre Häuser, ihr Eigentum und ihre Staatsbürgerschaft, weil sie Deutsch sprachen. Hunderttausende von ihnen verhungerten. Diese ethnische Vertreibung war die größte in der Menschheitsgeschichte, und dennoch haben Sie nie davon gehört. Warum? Ich möchte jedem empfehlen, sich diesen Dokumentarfilm anzusehen.

Wer in der deutschen Debatte Bekenntniszwänge, Sprechverbote und Schwarz-Weiß-Denken bemängelt, kann sich auf das internationale Niveau freuen. Denn Dean steht mitnichten allein: In dieselbe Kerbe schlug der hofierte Ökoleninist Andreas Malm, der in der Al-Aksa-Flut der Hamas nichts weniger als den Befreiungskampf gegen die »Zerstörung der Erde« sieht. Dean räumt selbst ein, dass ihre Argumentation verdächtig nach Carl Schmitts Freund-Feind-Denken klingt – eine gewisse Ironie, dass die unprovinzielle, internationale Perspektive ausgerechnet bei einem deutschen #Nazi landet. Wer die Entprovinzialisierung der deutschen Debatte wünscht, muss bereit sein, solchen Ideologien entgegenzutreten.

Israel und Gaza: Provinzielle Debatte?

Die linke Politologin Jodi Dean bezeichnete die Hamas als Spitze des revolutionären Kampfs, die bewaffneten Gleitschirmflieger als Symbol der »Freiheit«. Ist das die gewünschte entprovinzialisierte Debatte?

Freedom of speech is a great good and part of the #constitution. But you should think about what you say and consider the #consequences. What the Republicans want is to say absolutely everything without any consequences. But that's not how #communication works. The brain can be used and not every analogy is valid. If #Musk now pays everyone to go to court, the American justice system will probably come to a standstill.

L’horreur ordinaire
Je sors du film « La zone d’intérêt » avec la nausée non pas que le film ne remplisse pas son office, mais parce qu’il le remplît au-delà du supportable. Cette famille nazi si ordinaire, si médiocre à deux pas du mur d’ Auschwitz, génocide industrialisé, avec ses problèmes d’intendance, de vacances, de famille, de travail, de jardinage, de couple, nous ressemble tant, vertigineux. J’ai de suite pensé à notre position si confortable à nous aussi par rapport à l’Ukraine, chargée de défendre « jusqu’aux derniers » notre démocratie occidentale. A Gaza détruite pour supprimer des terroristes qui pourraient très bien venir troubler notre belle harmonie. Aux milliers de morts immigrés en Méditerranée, en mer du Nord, aux frontières…..Bien sûr cela se passe à quelques kilomètres de notre « home sweet home » Nous voyons tout ça par le prisme de l’écran de télévision, en spectateurs curieux et attentifs. Mais nous sommes tout autant concernés et impliqués au premier chef par ces massacres.
Dans le film un haut dignitaire nazi dit à un entrepreneur: « Ne vous faites pas du souci tous ne passeront pas par les fours, vous aurez vos ouvriers ». Tout est planifié, sordide, jusqu’au nettoyage du musée de la Shoah qui attend des milliers de touristes. C’est un film d’intérêt national à voir absolument, même par des collégiens.(prévoyez des sacs vomitifs).
Le réalisateur a dit de manière prémonitoire que : « le danger c’était de faire un film d’horreur » À vous de juger.

TEREZIN was a concentration camp 30 miles north of Prague in the Czech Republic during the World War II. It was originally a holiday resort reserved for Czech nobility. Terezín is contained within the walls of the famed fortress Theresienstadt, which was created by Emperor Joseph II of Austria in the late 18th century and named in honor of his mother, Empress Maria Theresa.

By 1940 Nazi Germany had assigned the Gestapo to turn Terezín into a Jewish ghetto and concentration camp. It held primarily Jews from Czechoslovakia, as well as tens of thousands of Jews deported chiefly from Germany and Austria, as well as hundreds from the Netherlands and Denmark. More than 150,000 Jews were sent there, including 15,000 children, and held there for months or years, before being sent by rail transports to their deaths at Treblinka and Auschwitz extermination camps in occupied Poland, as well as to smaller camps elsewhere. Less than 150 children survived.
