Guten Tag euch!
Ein neuer Tag. Viele neue Herausforderungen vor mir. An der Seite paar gute Freunde zu haben und meine Familie, das tut der Seele immer gut. Der Tag ist bewölkt, aber in meinem Kopf und in meinem Herz blühen wieder neue Kräfte auf und neue gute Gedanken. Optimistisch bleiben, an mich selber glauben, das ist für mich nun die Devise. Dankbar sein den echten Freunden, auf die ich mir immer verlassen kann! Ich wünsche euch auch einen guten Tag und ich bin für euch auch da. Vergisst das bitte nie!

4pm and still sort of moving on. Travelling glowing roads under a searing sun. Relocating the body for a moment to let the mind skip a few beats. Also: Thinking in the wrong language for now, confused again by consulting the model. Maybe this time questions were too trivial. Or the machine's slowly adapting to the queriers mental state. (The city and the late afternoon and me in between.)

Ode to Mowing the Lawn

Sometimes I mow from side to side,
sometimes from up to down
No one’s life depends on it.
The end product is not very different.
What matters is I notice I have a choice,
especially here where the stakes are low
so that when it matters more—
when in the balance are hearts and lives—
I remember there are many ways to “do it right.”
How do I do it, this act of loving you?
How do I do it, this forgiveness,
this surrender? And how will the path
I choose today change what is forever?
Oh this practice of pathmaking,
how sometimes it’s benign,
and sometimes it changes what’s here.
I push the mower through the grass this morning,
notice the record of how I’ve passed through.
I think of you. The scent of what if
hangs green and alive in the air.

Super easy and cheap option to start a single plant #Kratky #Hydroponic unit.

I bought a large number of mesh cups after my last trip to #Ghana to take with me for fhd planned workshops and ito use them at the #Aquaponics system we were planning to build at #Kumasi agriculture college.

My sickness, followed by #Covid restrictions prevented me from travelling and I put everything in storage before moving back to south of #France.

As I am trying to restart my experiments with various solutions to grow #vegetables at home, I came across these small mesh cups that are perfect match for the 2L #milk bottles in France. The same with 1L #bottles and many other #juice sold in #France and in #Europe.

The 2L is perfect because it will have enough water and nutrients for a leafy vegetable like #lettuce or #kale to grow without the need to refill it

All I need to do is to wrap the bottle with aluminum foil, fill it with proper mix of nutrients and water and put them under a #GrowLight or by the window to get #sunshine.

It has mostly dull and #cloudy today with only short periods of #sunshine. Even just a few minutes ago, it was rather overcast but suddenly, a #clouds broke and #sunight filtered through the layers and there was even some blue #sky during the #sunset.

Then, when I was about to post the above image, I noticed some #pink light in the drawing room and so went and took another set of #photographs. As I've said before, every moment is different and this has much deeper #reds. Take your pick as to which you prefer.

At lunchtime, there was plenty of #sunshine and #birds were visiting the #garden in steady waves.

#Sparrows and other smaller birds use the #BirdFeeder, sometimes occupying several of the perches simultaneously. But this one was solitary.

#Pigeons feed off the ground and are often seen at the base of the bird feeder. However, this one was walking along the garden #fence.
