Head of IRGC in Iran reported that during the ongoing military operation against the "anti revolutionary and bandits" in Kurdistan province, some 24 members of the group were killed and more than 170 were injured.

In another news they have said that several members of IRGC (mostly young men doing their compulsory service with them) and at least one commander were killed but no news of the injured has been shared with the media.

This comes at the same time as the government of the Iraqi Kurdistan has ordered all Iranian opposition groups to move out of their camps close to Iranian borders and "to stop using Iraq as safe heaven for launching attack against Iran".

At the same time, the Turkish army has escalated their artillery, rocket and missile attacks against Kurdish locations in Northern #Syria and Iraq.

Marine spokesman Lt. Col. L. L. Gilbert told Marine Corps Times at the time that approximately 20 Marines would “temporarily provide routine air defense support to a larger, layered air-defense effort within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.” Back then, he declined to elaborate further, citing operational security.

Now, the #Marine Corps has specified that 17 Marines from the expeditionary unit’s low-altitude air-defense detachment were deployed to #Kuwait in support of U.S. Army Central, the Army formation focused on the Middle East and surrounding countries.

The spokespersons’ statements didn’t offer more specifics about the impetus for the deployment.

Gilbert declined to name the air-defense system the detachment used. That information is sensitive, he said.

“What I can say is that ‘Low-Altitude Air Defense’ captures both the proper title of the unit and the characterization of their mission,” he said in a follow-up statement to Marine Corps Times on Monday. “It is also accurate to say, as we have before, that they served as a cog in the wheel of a larger, layered air-defense effort within the (area of responsibility).”

The head of American CENTCOM is in a meeting with Israeli joint chief of military to coordinate the "strategic common interests of the 2 nations" during the planned military exercise of the 2 countries!

ISIS attacked the Russian base in Syria, just like the story I posted a few weeks ago about Zelensky desire to work with Syrians to attack the Russian troops.

In what seems to be the largest and most well organized attack performed by ISIS in many years, over 150 fighters armed with machine guns, RPGs and rocket launchers that lead to death of several Russian troops, including a high ranking officer.

Weather or not it haa anything to do with the story I posted about Zelensky suggesting to use Syrian Kurds (read AlQaeda) ro attack Russians in Syria, is not going to be known anytime soon.

Another important factor is the continuous bombings of Syrian and Hezbollah positions in Syria in the past few months has embolded the ISIS and their affiliated groups in Syria are using the weakened Assad regime and lack of man power without the help of Iranian and Lebanese Hezbollah in the country is giving them a much much stronger and bolder position to gain power and popularity.
