Why #Russia will never attack the #EU:

I know there is a lot of #military and patriotic #propaganda out there and the military industrial complex is on the rise because everyone wants to arm themselves because of the Russian #threat.

Let's pause for a moment and think about the reasons why #war is still being waged today:

1) The number one reason is still #religion. Religion serves to unite one's own #community, but is also always a demarcation against others. In Europe and Russia, religion only plays a subordinate role and the churches are struggling with insignificance.

2) The second important reason is natural #resources. Western Europe has long since used up its natural resources and is therefore plundering other countries, mainly in #Africa. Russia has enough natural resources of its own.

3) Population growth so that new living spaces are needed. In #Europe and #Russia, the #population is declining. As a result, many families only have one child and they don't want to lose it to the war.

4) Important geostrategic positions. Europe is losing importance. Russia's most important trading partners are in #Asia. Europe is strategically insignificant.

Europe is increasingly losing importance and therefore wants to feel important militarily. For Russia, an attack would bring no advantage and only high losses. Russia can infiltrate the weakened political system in Europe much more easily by manipulating elections and causing social unrest with propaganda. This hybrid warfare is much more successful than an open war.

The Book of The Way, Day by Day

The #Tao never does anything,
yet through it all things are done.

If powerful men and women
could center themselves in it,
the whole world would be transformed
by itself, in its natural rhythms.
People would be content
with their simple, everyday lives,
in harmony, and free of desire.

When there is no desire,
all things are at #peace.

JAPANESE #CAMELLIA FLOWER ESSENCE

enter image description here
WHAT IT CATALYZES
Activate: Contentment
Message: I am #love.
Japanese Camellia (Camellia japonica) inspires a #peaceful acceptance of the way things are. It induces contentment, like the full belly feeling after a beautiful meal. We feel warm and fuzzy, almost as if we’re surrounded by family or a sense of family and camaraderie. Japanese Camellia offers a deeper acceptance of all things the way they are.

It magnifies a deep softness and appreciation of beauty. We are filled with peaceful laughter and we experience empathy with the people around us. Our ability to deeply listen with all senses and feel the essence of what’s behind people’s words is enhanced. We may feel like being quiet so that we can tune in and listen even more to what others are saying vs. having our own reaction or interjecting our own words. There is a peaceful, patient energy that flows through us that acts clearly without hesitation.

Even if people around us are harsh or come at us with fierce words or energy, we can soften and stay open and peaceful. Our sense of inner peace is not as affected by others emotions; we can maintain our soft patience. Instead of jumping to conclusions and then being hard on ourselves, we can simply quietly observe what’s happening around us and find it easier to #maintain a sense of soft #inner #peace.

In #Essence
MAGNIFIES: Love; #Compassion; #Appreciation

DISSOLVES: Worry; Callousness; Indifference

Take a breath – look within,
witness all the wonders spin,
that Christmas spirit sends:
Reflective Advent!

Candle glow, holiday cheer,
Winter magic, snowflakes near,
hopeful light that ascends:
Transcendent Advent!

Spending time together, close,
giving joy – a sweet disclose,
Christmas carols blend and blend:
Joyful Advent!

Grateful for the good we find,
reaching out, connecting minds,
bridging gaps and making amends:
Reconciling Advent!

I want nothing more than peace on earth. There have always been too many refugees and there are more every day. Don't let them drown or bleed to death in the barbed wire of the border fences. Let us as humanity try to preserve our living space and not waste our last resources in senseless inhumane wars. Even without wars, the crises are so numerous that we can only overcome them together. We will only have a common future if we distribute wealth fairly and prevent billionaires.

47 years ago, 20 November 1977: Egyptian president Anwar #Sadat visits Jerusalem and gives a speech at the Israeli Knesset, as part of his historic visit: The first Arab leader to visit #Israel. I was little, but I remember the #peace process.

I remember after one of his speeches, right wing MK Geulah Cohen criticised Sadat, saying everyone was dazzled, but she listened to his words and doubted he was actually after peace. My mother answered the television, saying that Sadat's body language showed he was genuine in his intentions. (My mother was a dance teacher and art therapist, and knew something about body language.)

In 1979 Sadat even visited Beer Sheva (insert biblical references here). We went out to one of the main roads along with many others to greet him. We just saw some fancy cars with tinted windows drive past. I remember being disappointed I didn't get to see him.

Peace with #Egypt was achieved, although Sadat was assassinated for it by Islamist extremists. And despite difficulties, the peace treaty held, and it remains one of the biggest boosts to Israel's security. There's a lesson in there somewhere.

#MountKailash, located in the remote western region of #Tibet, is one of the world's most revered and mysterious mountains.

Standing at an elevation of 6,638 meters (21,778 feet), this striking peak is uniquely shaped with four steep faces that resemble a pyramid, making it visually distinct from other mountains in the #Himalayas. What makes Mount #Kailash so special, however, isn’t just its dramatic appearance but its profound spiritual and cultural significance across multiple religions.

#Sacred Significance
Mount Kailash is considered a sacred site in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and the ancient Bon religion. In Hinduism, it is revered as the abode of Lord Shiva, where he resides with his consort, Parvati, in a state of perpetual meditation. Devotees believe that Mount Kailash is the center of the universe and a direct connection between heaven and earth.

In Buddhism, Mount Kailash is seen as the home of Demchok (or Chakrasamvara), a deity representing #supreme #bliss.

Pilgrims believe that completing a kora, or a circumambulation, of the mountain brings good karma and purifies the soul. Tibetan Buddhists undertake this kora in a clockwise direction, while Bon followers circle it counterclockwise.

For #Jains, Mount Kailash is known as Ashtapada, the place where their first Tirthankara, Rishabhadeva, achieved spiritual #liberation. In the #Bon religion, Mount Kailash is regarded as the seat of the #Sky #Goddess #Sipaimen and a place of immense power.

Pilgrimage and Kora
Every year, pilgrims from around the world travel to Mount Kailash for the challenging kora, a 52-kilometer (32-mile) circumambulation around the mountain. This journey, often done at an altitude of over 4,500 meters (14,764 feet), is believed to be a transformative spiritual experience. Completing just one kora is thought to cleanse negative karma, while completing 108 koras is believed to lead to enlightenment.

Geographical and Environmental Importance
Mount Kailash is the source of some of #Asia's most important #rivers, including the #Indus, #Sutlej, #Brahmaputra, and #Karnali (a major tributary of the #Ganges). These rivers are vital water sources for millions of people across South Asia. The region around Kailash is also rich in unique flora and fauna adapted to the harsh Tibetan Plateau environment.

Forbidden Peak
Climbing Mount Kailash is strictly forbidden out of respect for its spiritual sanctity. Over the years, climbers and explorers have requested permission to ascend, but the mountain remains off-limits. This restriction has preserved its natural state and mystique, as no human has set foot on its summit.

A Place of Mystery
Mount Kailash is shrouded in mystery and local legends, including tales of rapid aging for those who attempt to climb it, and reports of an unusual energy field around it. The mountain has a pyramidal shape, which some believe may be an ancient man-made structure or a center of #cosmic #energy.

Conclusion
Mount Kailash stands as a powerful symbol of #peace, reverence, and spiritual aspiration. Its allure lies not only in its beauty but in its status as an untouched spiritual beacon, attracting pilgrims, #mystics, and adventurers from around the world. For those who witness its grandeur, Mount Kailash is more than a mountain—it’s a deeply sacred place that inspires humility, awe, and spiritual reflection.
