In 2017, #US and allied Kurdish forces bombarded the city of Raqqa, the bastion of #ISIS in #Syria and the de-facto capital of the terror group’s self-proclaimed caliphate.

Concurrent to this, US forces conducted massive air strikes on the Iraqi city of #Mosul, to support Iraqi and Kurdish ground forces against ISIS there too.

But the US-led campaigns in Mosul and #Raqqa falsely suggest that the US and ISIS were implacable enemies. These battles created the perception that the US was committed to fighting #Al-Qaeda and its various splinter groups, in a continuation of the so-called “War on Terror” begun by the Bush administration in the wake of 9/11.

However, a closer look at events in both Iraq and Syria paints a very different picture: The US and its allies, both directly and indirectly, colluded with ISIS to attain specific geopolitical objectives. The terror group that captured the world’s attention in 2014 was in fact a vital and valuable tool for US policy planners.

Evidence of this is rife. In June 2014, when ISIS fighters swept across the Syrian border to first capture Mosul, the largest city of its caliphate, the US military monitored the ISIS convoys crossing from Syria using drones and satellite systems, but took no action to bomb them.

The Bayraktar TB2 has brought precision air-strike capabilities to Ukraine and other countries. It’s also a diplomatic tool, enabling Turkey’s rise.

US troops are occupying an area an Syria that is not only preventing the govt from accessing its wheat and oil but also is home to the the conoco factory that had important equipment that used to feed electricity to Damascus, which is now in the dark much of the day.

It's truly sickening that US once again fighting against the group that fought and almost won the war against ISIS.

None of the people with Ukraine flag on their profile has raised their voice against this outrageous criminal actions by US military occupying Syria, 7000 miles away from their borders.

I have no sympathy for the group in question, but it is their country and Americans are the invaders there.

They have a legitimate right to fight the invaders.

Without #KSA's and #UAE's help Israel can not bomb #Iran using #F35s. With Iranian fighter jets located on #Hamedan and #Dezful, they will be able to intercept the Israeli fighter jets on their way out of Iran after the first bomb has exploded.

Even with the #stealth technology of F35s, it has to burn a massive amount of fuel to be able to leave Iranian airspace, which means in those minutes after the bombings, they will be highly vulnerable unless they can land/refuel over UAE or KSA's airspace, alternative landing there.

This mean both countries will be on the direct target list of Iran that will not hesitate to retaliate against the 2 countries and set the whole region on fire.

Iran's nuclear program is located on 17 different locations. Israel can not attack all of them, and an attack against the 2 main sites of #Natanz and #Fardow will just make #Khamenei to cancel his #Fatwa against #nuclear #bomb and resign from the #NPT and cut all ties with both the #UN and the #IAEA.

This is an absolute madness and an extremely dangerous and irresponsible act. Something that #Biden seems to have signed off and OKed with during his trip to the 2 countries. US bombing campaign in #Syria the other day, may be the starting step in the coming chain of action co-ordinated between US-Israel-KSA and UAE.

Lets hope they are not that stupid to actually do it.
