Microsoft's #announcement comes as generative AI tools like #ChatGPT have raised concerns about reproducing copyrighted material without proper attribution. Leider habe ich schlechte Nachrichten für dich.
Vor einigen Monaten ist es mir gelungen, vollständigen Zugriff auf alle Geräte zu erlangen, die du täglich zum Surfen im Internet verwendest.
Danach habe ich mit der umfangreichen Überwachung und Verfolgung all deiner Aktivitäten begonnen.

Nach nur einer Woche habe ich es geschafft, Trojaner auf den Betriebssystemen deiner Geräte zu installieren. Und damit meine ich wirklich ALLE Geräte, die du nutzt.
Um ehrlich zu sein, war das gar nicht so schwierig (danke, dass du die Links in deinem Posteingang so unvorsichtig geöffnet hast).

Mithilfe der Trojaner kann ich jetzt auf deine Geräte zugreifen. Natürlich auch auf die Webcam und Tastatur deines Laptops und die Kamera in deinem Smartphone.
Natürlich habe ich die Chance genutzt und deine persönlichen Daten, Fotos und anderen Informationen, einschließlich des Browserverlaufs, auf meinen Cloud-Server übertragen.
Außerdem habe ich mir vollständigen Zugang zu all deinen sozialen Netzwerken und Messengern verschafft.
Dadurch konnte ich einen gründlichen Blick auf deine Chatverläufe werfen und alle Kontakte aus deiner Kontaktliste kopieren.
Meine Trojaner basieren auf Treibern, die unaufhörlich ihre Signaturen aktualisieren und dadurch nicht von deiner Antiviren-Software erkannt werden können.
Herbey, ich glaube, dass du jetzt endlich begreifst, auf was ich hinaus will ...
Als ich deine Geräte durchsucht habe, habe ich natürlich auch herausgefunden, dass du ein echter Porno-Fan bist.
Du hast definitiv Spaß mit deinen Filmchen! Das ist mir klar.
Ich habe eine nette kleine Kollage aus den versauten Szenen zusammengestellt, die du dir gerne ansiehst ...
und natürlich auch die Aufnahmen deiner Kamera mit eingebaut. Damit kann jeder sehen, was für ein notgeiler Typ du bist!
Ich brauche nur ein paar Mausklicks, um die Zusammenstellung deiner Orgien deinen Freunden, Arbeitskollegen und Familienmitgliedern zu schicken.
Ich kann die aufgezeichneten Videos von deinen Orgasmen natürlich auch ganz einfach komplett öffentlich machen.
Warum eigentlich nicht? Dann kannst du gleich selbst zum Pornostar werden!
Ich glaube, dass du es lieber vermeiden würdest, dass diese dreckigen Aufnahmen an die Öffentlichkeit kommen.
Gerade wenn man bedenkt, welche perversen Sex-Videos du dir so ansiehst. Du weißt genau, was ich meine. Das Ganze könnte für dich in einer riesigen Katastrophe enden.
Du hast nur noch eine Möglichkeit, diese heikle Situation auf eine friedliche Weise zu lösen:

Windows isn’t freeware, it requires a license that almost every consumer ultimately pays for. That could be in the form of the price of a laptop that has a Windows OEM license baked in, or a product key if you built your own PC. Microsoft should respect the fact that people already pay for Windows and don’t want ads shoved down their throats. Windows is an important productivity tool for many people, and shouldn’t be treated like a cheap streaming box loaded with ads.

More #AI testing. Repeating my tests from a couple of months back of #ChatGPT (ChatPDF to be precise) on #astronomy papers, but this time using #Bing, which uses the more advanced #GPT4.
I have to say this is quite the improvement. ChatPDF invents stuff at the drop of a hat. Bing does still make stuff up, but much less frequently. In the papers I tested, it got all the major scientific points right. Even when I thought it'd got something wrong, further questioning revealed it was right but just not expressing itself in an ideal way. It does not do well with figures in PDF files, however, even though it thinks it can, and using it in "balanced" mode is truly excruciating.
My conclusion from the ChatPDF tests was that it was tech demo stage, not actually useful. Can't say the same for Bing - this at the "I plan to actually use this myself" stage already. It can't do my work for me, but it can definitely help.

The obligatory overly-lengthy, "here's what I think of AI" post, focusing on #ChatGPT and #Bing. Yes, there are millions of these. But I wrote one anyway, so there.
To try and attempt a summary...
- #AI will probably be largely a positive force, even though the corporate culture in Big Tech is objectively shite. Don't confuse the technology with the companies.
- Chatbots do not reason like humans but still create demonstrably useful output. To an extent, how they work isn't actually relevant. Includes links to ~200 of my own experiments with ChatGPT.
- Hype about AI bringing forth the apocalypse is no more than hype and of no substance whatever. AI doesn't think. It doesn't want. It doesn't feel. The apocalypse stuff only serves to promote its designers claims of importance : look, it's soooper dangerous, so it must be amazingly powerful... don't you wish you too could have such awesome power ? Of course you do.
- Progress in general doesn't feel like we expect it to. We're mislead by hype claims of sudden dramatic changes, whereas in reality things are usually gradual with time to adapt, even if the tech development itself is substantial. We shift our baseline expectations and quickly forget what life was like before the change occurred, so long as that change is finite and limited.
- AI is currently useless for analysis. It's dumber than a bag of rocks. But it's genuinely great for freewheeling discussions and provoking ideas.
- Claims about how AI is going to render everyone obsolete are I think also largely hype. I think the tech as it stands is likely to be transformative in the way that, say, mobile phones have been, but nothing on the scale of the Agricultural Revolution.
