The algorithm was able to track how much Amazon’s power in the e-commerce field would get competitors to move their prices, and in instances in which competitors didn’t move their prices, the algorithm would return Amazon’s prices back down, according to the Journal.

“By the time people come back from their holidays in September, we will have a visible decrease in the prices you see on the shelves and in terms of food price inflation,” Gregoire, who is a government minister responsible for small-and-medium sized enterprises (SMEs), told France Inter radio.
Gregoire’s comments echoed those from Bank of France governor and European Central Bank member Francois Villeroy de Galhau, who said earlier this month that he expected food price inflation to start easing in the second half of this year.

So-called "fossil fuels" aren't made from #fossils. If they were, they wouldn't be able to be extracted below the fossil layer & Saturn's moon #Titan wouldn't have vast amounts of #oil inside it.
"Petroleum" is from the ancient #Greek petra + oleum which means rock + oil. Oil, or #petroleum comes from the Earth's geological processes, not fossils. "Fossil fuels" are more accurately called "hydrocarbons."

Your #debt is an asset on a bank's balance sheet. By moving your debt from one #bank to another, you are reducing the positive balance on one bank's #balance sheet & increasing it on another. If enough #people do that, a bank's share #price can be changed.
If a bank wants to try to impose a social credit system or a component of one upon you, take the asset of your debt away from them. If enough people do this, they may find a bank will change its unwanted #behaviour.

ROME — Pope Francis on Tuesday imposed an Oct. 1 deadline for all Holy See offices and Vatican-linked institutions to deposit their assets with the Vatican bank.
Francis’ decree follows his decision earlier this year to entrust management of all Vatican assets to one office — the patrimony office known as APSA — in a bid to end decades of mismanagement that culminated with a scandal over a 350 million-euro investment in a London property. Ten people, including former Vatican officials and external brokers, are on trial in the Vatican tribunal on finance-related charges related to the deal.
The Vatican’s economy ministry in July issued a new investment policy requiring all Vatican departments to transfer their assets and investments to APSA via its accounts at the Vatican bank, known as the Institute for Religious Works, or IOR. No specific deadline was given, but the decree published Tuesday says all assets must be transferred by Sept. 30.
