Du même avis que le gouvernement Mitsotakis, les juges de la commission d’appel de Lamia viennent de rejeter la juste demande de libération conditionnelle de Yannis Michailidis, bien qu’il ait purgé sa peine pour tout ce qui lui a été attribué, selon les standards des procédures de libérations en Grèce.
Les avocats de la défense, Theodoros Mantas et Georgios Kakarnias, se sont dit surpris par tant d’inhumanité et d’insensibilité, rappelant que cette décision va conduire directement et précipitamment à la perte d’une vie humaine.
L’équipe médicale autour de Yannis Michailidis évoque un risque imminent de coma irréversible. La chute de sa glycémie s’est accélérée aux alentours de 50, ce qui va probablement le plonger dans un coma hypoglycémique. Le prisonnier anarchiste est en grève de la faim depuis le 23 mai.
Tout le mouvement social se mobilise actuellement en Grèce, bien au-delà des anarchistes et des antiautoritaires. Même les partis politiques de gauche (Syriza, Diem25, etc.) ont unanimement dénoncé le traitement injuste fait au prisonnier anarchiste et demandent sa libération immédiate.
Un peu partout dans le pays, les actions de soutien et parfois de sabotage se multiplient. Des messages et des photos commencent également à nous parvenir d’autres régions du monde. Hier soir, de nombreuses manifestations ont eu lieu un peu partout, notamment à Héraklion en Crète, après l’évacuation de l’occupation de la mairie (où flottait le drapeau noir). Pendant ce temps à Athènes, Rouvikonas est intervenu au domicile du ministre de la Justice. Dans plusieurs régions de Grèce, des lieux de pouvoir et des dizaines de distributeurs de billets ont été saccagés en représailles avec le traitement infligé au prisonnier anarchiste.
