Monopoly capitalism isn't free market capitalism, it's a failure of government to umpire free markets to prevent monopoly formation.

Free markets are the best system of resource management we have, but their major flaw is progressive consolidation of capital to the extent of monopolies, duopolies, triopolies etc.

Government corruption such as cronyism has led to the failure of government to umpire free markets which has led to the monopoly capitalism of today.

New Swedish Model : From the richest country in the world, into a country where students have to dumpster dive to be able to have fresh vegetables!

It's posted as a positive story on Swedish National TV Svt, but behind the feel-good cover of the story is the horror decades of conservatism and neo liberalism has brought to Sweden.

But, hey, any story is a good story if you report it correctly, this is covered as an activity to cut food waste and helping the environment.

Staten ska erbjuda lån till elhandelsbolagen för att säkra att de ska kunna erbjuda avbetalningsplaner för kunder som har svårt att betala hela sin elräkning direkt.

Det säger Sveriges finansminister Mikael Damberg (S) på en pressträff tillsammans med energi- och digitaliseringsminister Khasayar Farmanbar (S).

– Vi ser att en sådan åtgärd behövs i det här läget eftersom den yttersta konsekvensen för den som inte klarar av att betala elräkningen brukar vara att elen stängs av, säger Damberg.

Syftet är att sänka elpriserna som trissats upp på grund av den ökade ekonomiska osäkerheten som orsakats av Rysslands storinvasion av Ukraina och det energikrig som Ryssland bedriver mot Europa, enligt honom.

Målet är enligt Damberg att "akuten" ska vara på plats senast till dess att novemberräkningen ska betalas.
