I am just linking here to another presentation. I do not claim that this is the correct representation.
However, I am always sceptical when babies are violated. After all, this has always been a justification for acts of warlike revenge since the Middle Ages.
It was used on a grand scale against the Germans in World War I, on all sides in World War II, it is used against the Russians and .....
Of course, this proves nothing, but it is not bad to keep it in mind.

Liebe Genoss*innen, liebe Freund*innen,unsere Solidarität gilt den Betroffenen der islamistischen Terroranschläge der Hamas in Israel, ihren Angehörigen und Freund*innen. Wir sind wütend und traurig angesichts der massiven antisemitischen und misogynen Gewalt, die den folgenschwersten Angriff auf jüdisches Leben seit 1945 darstellt. Wir sind in Sorge um die über 200 Menschen, die nach wie vor als Geiseln in den Händen der Hamas sind. Unsere Solidarität gilt allen Jüdinnen*Juden weltweit, die durch antisemitischen Terror immer mit bedroht werden, und nun noch stärker antisemitischer Gewalt ausgesetzt sind. So häufen sich in den letzten Tagen Anschläge auf Synagogen und jüdische Einrichtungen, in Bundesländern wie Berlin, Niedersachsen, Nordrhein-Westfalen wurden Häuser markiert, in denen Jüdinnen*Juden leben.

Auch deshalb gilt Israel als Schutzraum für Jüdinnen*Juden unsere vollste Solidarität.

Nachrichten vor 20 Jahren: #Israel fliegt Luftangriffe auf #Gaza

Ich habe mal eine ganz wilde Theorie: Wenn Israel das Ziel hat in friedlicher Koexistenz im Nahen Osten einen demokratischen Staat zu betreiben, dann geht das nur mit Hilfe der Nachbarstaaten. Luftangriffe tragen nicht dazu bei.

Lasst mich dies Aufgrund der aufgeheizten Situation mit einem anderen Beispiel erläutern:

Wenn nach den Anschlägen am 11. Sep. 2001 die #USA gesagt hätten, dass sie erschüttert sind und in tiefer Trauer über den schrecklichen Anschlag und erst einmal abgewartet hätten, dann wären Beileidsbekundungen von gemäßigten Gruppen aus der Arabischen Welt gekommen. Die Hardliner wären in scharfe #Kritik geraten und hätten wahrscheinlich an Einfluss verloren. Der Krieg gegen den Terror wäre nie gestartet worden und es gäbe heute nicht viel mehr Terroristen und Hardliner als früher. Wir hätten niemals den Islamischen Staat erlebt und es wäre wahrscheinlich zu einer friedlichen Revolution gekommen. Die ganze Region wäre aufgeblüht und hätte sich demokratisiert ohne 20 Jahre sinnlosen, verlustreichen und teuren Krieg in Afghanistan. Wir könnten uns heute auf zivilisationsgefährdende Krisen wie die Klimakrise konzentrieren und würden nicht neue Kriege führen. Wäre das nicht besser?

Bei dem ganzen Geschrei, dass #Putin wegen #Kriegsverbrechen vor den internationalen #Gerichtshof muss frage ich mich immer, ob denn überhaupt die grundlegendsten Demokratieprinzipien verstanden wurden, wie #Gleichheit vor dem #Gesetz. Bitte versteht mich nicht falsch. Jedes Kriegsverbrechen sollte bestraft werden und ich finde nicht, dass militärische Großmächte jedweder Art über dem Völkerrecht stehen. Wenn aber immer nur serbische und afrikanische Kriegsverbrecher verurteilt werden, dann verurteilen die großen Kriegsverbrecher die Anderen.

freedom fighter : one who fights for their freedom and the freedom of a people from oppression.

Wohaa! Al Jazeera ist eine fucking antisemitische Propagandamaschine.

Irgendwann mal bin ich hier dem Al Jazeera-Bot gefolgt. Gerade kann ich kaum noch andere Posts wahrnehmen, weil Al Jazeera den Output offensichtlich vervielfacht hat - und wenn man die Schlagzeilen so scannt wird ziemlich deutlich, wie einseitig, proislamistisch und antisemitisch man dort Propaganda bertreibt, statt Journalismus. Ekelhaft.
