Rising Conservative Star Just Guy Wearing Nazi Armband And Crying

AUSTIN, TX—A star who has experienced a meteoric rise in right-wing circles, 28-year-old conservative phenom Mason Finley is known solely for wearing a Nazi armband and crying, sources confirmed Tuesday. “Finley amassed millions of conservative viewers on his Discord channel, where the up-and-coming young GOP figure uploaded videos in which he is seen sobbing alone in a room as he sits with a swastika strapped to his arm,” said Republican strategist Gary Woodfall, claiming that despite being virtually unknown even a few months ago, the teary-eyed young man who wears Nazi memorabilia has already appeared at CPAC as well as Turning Point USA summits. “Something about the way he never stops crying and openly identifies as a Nazi has really struck a chord with the GOP rank and file. They see a lot of themselves in Finley when he blubbers and gives his weak little ‘Sieg heil’ salutes.” At press time, Finley’s popularity within the Republican Party had reportedly reached a fever pitch after he was seen bawling his eyes out and getting an SS symbol tattooed on his neck.

Grok is #woke, too.

This has played out in a number of extremely funny situations online where Grok has answered queries about various social and political issues in ways more closely aligned with progressivism. Grok has said it would vote for #Biden over #Trump because of his views on social #justice, #climate change and #healthcare. Grok has spoken eloquently about the need for #diversity and inclusion in society. And Grok stated explicitly that trans women are women, which led to an absurd exchange where Musk acolyte Ian Miles Cheong tells a user to “train” Grok to say the “right” answer, ultimately leading him to change the input to just…manually tell Grok to say no.

#Republicans to meet allies of #Hungary’s Viktor #Orbán on ending #Ukraine aid
Story by Flora Garamvolgyi and David Smith

..."Allies of Hungary’s far-right prime minister Viktor Orbán will hold a closed-door meeting with Republicans in Washington to push for an end to US military support for Ukraine, the Guardian has learned.

Márton Ugrósdy, the deputy state secretary for the prime minister’s political director’s office, and Attila Demkó, a leading pro-Orbán academic, along with members of the Hungarian embassy in Washington, will on Monday begin a two-day event hosted by the #conservative #Heritage Foundation thinktank."...

The Union's Manifesto expressed a "plebeian mistrust" of every political party, as well as the bureaucracy and the intelligentsia. The group looked at these as obstacles to "the direct communion between the Tsar and his people". This struck a deep chord with Nicholas II, who also shared the deep belief in re-establishment of autocratic personal rule, as had existed in the Muscovite state of the 1600s. It also stood for the russification of non-Russian citizens.#trump #biden #left #liberal #conservative #gop #usa #canada #eu #europe #russia #history #fascism #liberalism #uk #deutschland #france #italy #urp #czar #unionoftherussianpeope #Союзрусскогонарода #jamesstewartmartin #allhonorablemen ">

Union of the Russian People - Wikipedia

This seems to be close to what Trump stands for.
The article mentions that some consider it an early form of fascism, but it isn't - certainly not the fascism as defined and practised by Mussolini - who gave the word it's modern meaning. (he also called it "Third Way" and "Corporatism").

Fascism is based on a liberal[1] elite - as we saw in the italian and german economies which were turning into cartels and monopolies. Thus the hunt in 1945 in Germany by James Stewart Martin for the archives of the corporations - Krupp, IG Farbe a.s.o. He was sent by Eisenhower, with the express backing of Truman. along with the front line troops to get to the archives before they could be destroyed. He wrote a book - which you can (should) read/download here.

These entrepreneurs were the "good" Nazis - they used forced labour a.s.o. - because they were business people....
Some got sentences - but were released early - and, yes, despite denials, they were the power behind the fascists.... just read the book.

So the idea that one or the other is the lesser evil is binary thinking - whether in North America or Europe we have to get out of this dichotomy.
Liberals, of course, can do marketing better and have always had a greater influence in the media because of sponsoring through their adverts and because the media itself is a liberal business.

They are both right-wing and extreme.

[1] liberal means those who have mobile wealth - the middle class, the french revolutionaries, the bourgoisie, entrpreneurs, factories, child labour, sweat shops, importers, exporters, commerce, a.s.o.
The conservative have the immobile wealth - old money - land, buldings, mines agriculture, junkers, landed gentry, plantations, slaves.

The difference were once crass, then became less so - especiaaly when conservatives became libreals - except in name, just as the soeuropean "socialist" parties are 100pc liberal - except in name.

But now the differences are once again becoming crass - the liberal foreign policy is to force the open-door policy on the whole world - globalism is it is's newset manifestation - but it started with th eopium wars, gun boat diplomacy with Japan - "you will trade with us, on our terms, whether you like it or not" - recognise it? Sound familiar?

The conservative foreign policy is protectionism - like the Corn Laws in the UK of the 19th Century.

A transsexual soldier was beaten by homophobes in the center of #Lvov - a city known as the cradle of Ukrainian #nationalism.

"Sarah" Ashton-Cirillo, an #American transsexual employed by Ukraine's Security Service, stated that "to attack someone, especially a ZSU [Armed Forces of #Ukraine] soldier... based on identity is shameful and cowardly. I hope the soldier who was attacked finds solace in the support from her [sic] country."

Meanwhile, an American #conservative account tweeted on Twitter "perhaps #Azov aren't so bad after all. Slava Ukraini, heroyam slava [glory to the Ukraine, glory to its heroes]."

You can't make this stuff up. The incompetence of the #conservative government is legendary.

Asylum seekers moved off Bibby Stockholm #barge after #Legionella bacteria found

Asylum seekers are being removed from the Bibby Stockholm barge in Dorset after Legionella bacteria was found in the vessel's water system. All of those on board are likely to be taken to new accommodation as a precautionary measure. Legionella bacteria, which is commonly found in water, can cause a serious type of lung infection known as Legionnaires' disease. None of those on the barge have shown signs of having the disease.

Law and order is like patriotism — anyone who comes on strong about patriotism has got something to hide — it never fails. They always turn out to be a crook or an asshole or a traitor or something.

Why Trump and the GOP love Hungary’s authoritarian leader

“The reason that Orbán keeps winning is he has the control of a dictator,” said one political scientist. “So the question is, what are the Republicans in it for?"

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/viktor-orban-cpac-trump-gop-hungary-leader-rcna40199

He has extolled the value of racial purity, is vehemently anti-immigration, has cultivated close ties with Russia’s Vladimir Putin and was a speaker at this week’s Conservative Political Action Conference, known as CPAC, in Dallas.\
\
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, 59, is widely criticized around the world for systematically dismantling his country’s nascent democracy during his 12 years in power — but that hasn’t stopped him from emerging as a darling of many on the right in America.\
\
Orbán told a cheering crowd of conference delegates that he and other conservatives were in a battle to protect Western civilization against the forces of liberalism and mass migration.

Hey everyone, I’m #newhere. I’ follow #bible, #church, #college, #conservative, #education, #fire-rescue, #history, #libertarian, #linux, #maga, #reformed-theology, #startrek, and #starwars.

My previous experience in the Fediverse (Diaspora) was very bad. My avatar and persona at first was Robin, Batman’s sidekick. There aren’t that many males named Robin where I’m from, and I enjoyed being the boy wonder and writing from his perspective just for fun. A second Diaspora account was a fictional character from the Star Trek universe named Artim - this guy - with whom I share a great fear of technology mixed with childlike curiosity and fondness for play. But in serious discussions about social, political, and spiritual issues, I couldn’t be that character, of course.

Unfounded accusations of pedophilia followed, and whenever any underage person created an account on Diaspora thereafter, regardless of gender or sexual orientation or anything else, then my old adversaries would link that poor kid with me some way or another, and more stupid allegations would spread. I did actually invite one kid to Diaspora, from a Sunday school class I used to teach. They jumped all over that poor kid too and drove him off as well. I would be surprised to find anyone in the Fediverse except maybe Mastodon under the age of 20.

It’s too bad. I think the Fediverse would be awesome for kids, and we adults need to hear from the next generation, to listen to them, and to offer a little help to them in these unbelievably confusing times. But as long as there are those who would associate any kid with me and try to drive them off, I couldn’t stick around and be the reason for it, so I left. For what, two years I guess. Now I’m back but on Friendica on Diaspora for now, and hoping the storms are over. If not, I’ll disappear again, probably never to return.

The Friendica instance I chose has very few #Christian #conservatives in it's directory, and has blocked a number of Fediverse instances where some might be found. Also, I found the interface on diaspora much easier to navigate and manage. I think I prefer it in spite of it's lack of some great features that Friendica offers. Those extra features don't mean as much to me as the short learning curve and intuitive interface that Diaspora offers, so I chose a pod that doesn't appear to censor users and block many instances.

Following a 30-year career in #fire-rescue, I took some college and seminary courses (Presbyterian / Reformed) and took a job running freight around the lower 48 for a bit, just to travel and learn. Now approaching my 65th year, I work locally and continue taking courses in college and seminary. Not working for a degree, just learning for the sheer pleasure of growing more and being equipped to teach at church when needed.

My interests are #bible #theology #history #writing #living-history #reenacting #church-history #sacred-music, #prepping #MAGA #America-first (that does not necessarily mean #Republican by any means! More like #libertarian)

Hopefully it's safe for me now, and hopefully my first experience of this Fediverse will be a positive one in which I can contribute, learn, and share.

A quotation by Wilhoit, Frank

Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit:

There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.

There is nothing more or else to it, and there never has been, in any place or time.
